It was ok, I really liked having the gym. The other part about living here was kind of an eh. Our room also always had problems that maintainance claimed to fix
Very great place to live to meet people with a super helpful staff. Just a bit loud at times. The location to Franklin Street and campus is also great
i loved living in granville towers it was close to class and the people were great. the agora was always good and the gym was super close. overall short walk to everywhere.
I really enjoyed staying in Granville, but it was really hard to regulate the temperature some times. That was my main issue. My room could be really cold or really hot.
Granville Towers is in an unbeatable location and provides a great community for students to get to know each other. The laundry, cafeteria, and gym are all very convenient.
Granville is a really nice place to live. The location is awesome. It’s so close to all of my classes and Franklin St which makes it so easy to walk wherever I need to go
Sometimes the food would get monotonous. The rooms are okay and certainly suffice for a college student. The staff is mostly friendly and the cleaning crew is very nice.
The value of living at Granville is AMAZING! People often think Granville is expensive, but it's not really! Granville has a convenient location since it is just a 10-minute walk to campus! Having our own dining hall is great too because you don't have to trek far to get food. The one thing about the Agora is the lack of variety in vegetarian foods since eating the same vegetarian options like stir fry and burritos can get very boring. Also, I have noticed that when vegetarian foods are asked to be made (whether on the grill or at the Banhe counter), the same utensils, knives, and bowls are used as non-vegetarian foods which for some vegetarians becomes a problem. It is nice that we have on-site maintenance however, sometimes maintenance never really fixes the root of the issue. The entire year, my roommate and I went with the shower and our vanity sink not draining properly so sometimes the water would rise up higher than our ankles in the shower and water would take forever to drain in the sink while brushing our teeth. We filled out several maintenance requests throughout the year but the problem was and still is not resolved.
Granville is in a great location and close to most classes. The food is also great; I always have friends who have meal plans on campus ask to eat at the Agora in Granville because it is better!
I've lived in Granville for 2 years now and the Agora continues to slap. The housekeeping staff is never anything less than amazing and the RA's are awesome
Loved Granville! It's super close to Franklin, the Agora has great food (my personal fav was smoothie day), and the people are just amazing:) 10/10 recommend
I love Granville Towers! The students, and staff are amazing and so nice. I love the Agora and all the delicious food. I can not wait to live here!
Amazing community with great living spaces and amenities. I couldn't imagine staying anywhere else. I highly recommend Granville Towers to any potential student.
Granville is a great place to place. The food is awesome and the location is the best. I can walk to class in about seven minutes and I can walk to Starbucks in about three minutes!
Granville Towers is THE BEST!! I love all the food in the Agora and the staff is amazing. They are super sweet, kind and love to get to know the residents.
Granville was a great place to live this past year! The staff was extremely kind, no matter how early or late. The gym and fitness studio were always clean and had lots to offer.
I have had a pretty decent experience in my community. However, the majority of the time, residents around my room are very loud, especially during quiet hours. It normally doesn't continue for a long period of time, but other times my whole suite is woken up at 3 a.m because people are running up and down the hallway. Other than this, my experience has been great!
My experience here has been great I love the location and how convenient it is. I like living in East Tower because it has the gym and it is closest to classes.
Great location and nice size rooms. Having Franklin Street and Target right beside you while also have a short walk to classes was convenient. All the staff was friendly, and were readily accessible when needed. Food was better than on campus, and the special themed dinners they had were nice. A little more in-tower amenities would be nice, overall a great dorm for students.
The location is the best part about living in Granville. It is an easy walk to your classes and so close to Franklin Street!! Granville also as the Agora which is super convenient.
Scottie Rose G.
Granville Towers is in a great and convenient location, has friendly staff members, a pretty responsive and helpful maintenance team, and has pretty nice rooms and amenities.
I love Granville the staff is friendly and the rooms are nice. Granville always has events and special meals for their residents. They make living in a dorm nice.
Overall great place to live. Some minor setbacks like our sink having gunk come out of it. But everything else was great. The food is great. Atmosphere is great.
Granville has been great and very convenient. I just wish the AC and heat weren’t so extreme and could just be moderate. The staff here are so helpful, although some RA’s really do the bare minimum. The agora is great and I’m so glad they FINALLY put dairy free frozen yogurt in!
I like living in Granville Towers. Mostly because of its proximity to Franklin Street. The 24 hour gym, however, is also a big plus to living here.
I don’t like the food and I don’t like some of the staff, they seem to be unfriendly and very unhelpful. Otherwise, the rooms and amenities are fine.
Living at Granville Towers during my freshman year has been amazing! The walks to campus are short and enjoyable! The Agora always has great food and has fun theme nights throughout each month!
Couldn't be happier, love Granville towers and everything they give to the freshmen experience. the agora is phenominal, and the location cannot be topped. Thank you!
I chose to live at Granville because my other plans fell through the year. Could be worse, but not being able to sleep until 3 every night takes a toll on you
Granville is a great place to live. You have great neighbors, great RAs and great staff. Everyone is always so nice and welcoming. The agora always has great food and staff. I love the location of Granville-it May be the best part. You are so close to your classes and to Franklin street.
Granville is at a very convenient location. The food in the Agora is pretty good but you might get bored eating there every day. Smoothie days are the best though. Also, Granville can be loud especially if you are on a Freshman floor. The walls are not very soundproof and some resident said have a habit of being yelling/stopping/running at 2-3am after quiet hours.
The staff are really great, I love the room. Housekeeping is really sweet as well and do a great job! Really looking forward to living here again.
Granville Towers is a good place to live for first and second year students. The agora is better than on campus dinning and the gym options in the basement are better than making the trip to campus
Granville has spacious rooms and the convenience of the Agora cannot be beat! The study lounges located on each floor are nice areas to hang out and watch TV or to do homework with friends.
Love this place and the people. I’ve made many lifelong friends and I absolutely love the staff and all of the programs out on here. I will always see this as a pillar of my college experience.
Great people. Great rooms. Furthemode I absolutely love the location of Granville, especially the fact that it’s walking distance from the campus.
The rooms are really spacious and I love the room set up! The community at Granville is really supportive and the events are always fun! I also love how close to campus it is located!
My experience has been great. The location of Granville is unbeatable along with having the agora at hand anytime I'm hungry. All staff and RAs have been great.
Clean space and nice having vanity, however, the desk attendant is not always there at multiple times in the day making it inconvenient. Also, maintenance did not know how to fix a certain issue with our bathroom.
Overall wonderful. Made friends that will last a life time. The agora is killer! Getting our bathrooms cleaned is another perk. The location is also amazing.
I love it here!! the rooms are nice, agora has great food. plenty of amenities and things to do near by. it’s a great place to live and i would really suggest it!!
I was unaware of how heavily-focused Granville is on Greek life, so I do not like that aspect. I would not have lived there had I known about this.
Love it. Super close to Target and Franklin Street. Five minute walk to campus. The Ag saves my life because it's so close and I love smoothie day.
very cool time, love the gym it is really nice and updated. I like the laundry services and the staff is really nice. However, I think that only giving 2hr parking passes out to parents is not cool
Granville Towers is a great place to live at UNC. The amenities are nice, the Agora is good and the location is great. It's awesome to live so close to classes and Franklin St!
Staff is fun to talk to. Both the maintenance staff and the agora staff are fun people. People do get loud sometimes but its not a bid deal.
Granville Towers has been an excellent home for the last two years! The staff are friendly and always thinking of new ways to make resident life better.
I love it at Granville towers. I enjoy the food in the Agora, the free printing in the Cyber Cafe, and the convenient location. The rooms are big and the cleaning service is very helpful. The staff is very friendly and I feel at home here. I would love to live here again.
Love the proximity to campus and Franklin street. Feels like having an apartment but with extra services (meals, laundry, cleaning service, etc...)
The location in relation to classes and Franklin street makes it the most convenient freshman housing. The staff are very welcoming and helpful as well.
Choosing to live at Granville is one of the best decisions I've made in college. It's a perfect location for people who want to be close to classes, but also want to enjoy Franklin Street.
Noise can be a little bit of an issue, the halls (especially freshman halls) can be really loud. The environment is fun and it's really great to have a gym and dinning hall right there.
Overall I really love the location of Granville towers and the conciencie of having the gym and agora so close to where I live. I also really like the design of the room.
Granville towers has been quite the experience as a first year student of UNC-CH. While South campus does seem like a unique experience, I am happy I chose to live in Granville. I love the location, the suite style, and the community.
Granville Towers has a great location. You are convient to classes and Franklin street which is great. Living here is kind of like your typical dorm experience though. Late night food is the best!
Living here is awesome! The Agora is super convenient and it's in the best location. It takes me like 6 minutes to get to some of my classes! Everyone here is super nice and i've made so many friends. Any issues (ie plumbing) were easily resolved by talking to people in the main office!
I love my hall, I have made so many friends from my floor. I love my suitemates and my roommate. Sharing a bathroom with 4 people is much better than having to share with 8. The staff at Granville Towers is also always friendly to me.
The community here is very comfortable and safe. Loving at Granville May have been one of the best decisions I made...after choosing to come to UNC.
Granville is a great place to live for UNC Students! It's close to Franklin Street and most classes are only about a ten-minute walk away. The facilities (Agora, gym, community kitchen, etc.) are very nice and easily accessible.
I really enjoy the location of Granville in relation to the rest of campus and to the shops and restaurants on Franklin Street. I also love the convenience of having a gym and dining hall so close.
Great location for a first-year. However, the noise can be unbearable for anyone hoping to study/sleep. Shoddy repairs for problems in room.
GT is close to everything I want on campus and it's got some great food. GT's staff cares about making the environment a safer, more fun place.
Granville is great, but it could be even better with a bit more TLC and timeliness. I love the location! The agora could use a few more vegetarian and vegan options though.
I love the location and the amenities. The gym and the agora are both so close and so convenient. The staff is always friendly and kind. Our bathroom has had several issues that were not fixed promptly, but when they were fixed, the staff was very understanding and helpful. The location is perfect for any first year, although there is a lot of greek life.
Granville Towers is a great place to live. It has the best location for walking to class, going on Franklin St. and attending school events.
Granville is close to campus and most importantly to Franklin Street. It's close proximity to everything makes it a great place to live. The people are also nice.
I love Granville Towers because of the location. Granville is close to Franklin Street and class buildings. Target is also really close and convenient.
Granville is such a great place to live. It has so much to offer, the community is great, and the staff is so kind. I highly recommend it to anyone considering.
Granville Towers is the best place to live at UNC. The Agora is my favorite place because of all the fun food and the great staff! I love the people on my hall and we have so much fun together!
The amenities are incredibly clean and well managed. The staff is so nice and welcoming and I always feel very safe while in the building. I love living here!
I love Granville! Great location, right next to Franklin Street, good community vibes! It's the best dorm to live in for first year students.
Great amenities and staff. Granville is close to classes, holds regular resident events, and has everything you could want or need. I highly recommend staying here.
The best place to be in Chapel Hill given it is on Franklin street and as close to classes on North Campus as possible. The food is great and the staff are extremely friendly as well!
So far my experience as a residence has been pretty solid. The people are cool and the food is above average for what you would expect for a college cafeteria. I can’t complain.
My experience has beeen great! The maintenance staff is always really nice and fixes my issues immediately. I love that there is a gym right downstairs that I can visit at almost any time I want.
People are energetic, but some noises still exist after the quiet hour. The staff and maintenance are caring and helpful. However, infrastructure, especially air conditioning is too noisy.
Granville towers is awesome. The people and staff are great. The cleaning staff do a great job and keep the facilities very clean. I have loved living at Granville!
It’s been great staying at Granville! There are always so many activities going on for residents here. I appreciate the staff for always making sure everything is in check and that the residents are happy!
I have lived here for 1.5 semesters now. The location is really convenient and most of the staff is really nice. My only complaint it people on the hall making a lot of noise at night or early morning.
Living here has been an amazing experience for my first year. There has been many community events that has introduced me to others living in granville towers.
Great service, I love the breakfast and food offered in the agora. Special shout out to Ms. Dianne who always brightened my day and made my stay more enjoyable
The facilities are pretty nice but the staff are really awesome! I enjoy talking to all the people because they are really helpful and friendly.
As a second year resident I like having a place to call home away from home. Granville towers is a good community with good food and plenty to do.
Very good place to live. Great services including food, study areas, and cleaning. Also has free printing, laundy room, and gym. Recommend staying for a great location on campus
I have loved living in Granville due to the convenience of getting around Chapel Hill. The people living here, on the other hand, not so much.
Granville is a great place to live on campus. It is close to all my classes and the room size is amazing compared to most dorms! I would recommend getting a meal plan both at the Argora and on campus. Just for convenience.
I love living here! Location is great, amenities are awesome, and I thoroughly love my room. Couldn't ask for more in choosing where to live!
The food is great and the services along with social events. The noise level and quiet hours is not respected on my hall. Inclusion is not evident. The bathroom is very small in comparison to some dorms on south campus which is unexpected.
I love staying at Granville! It is the best dorm on Campus! I've recommended it to all of my friends! The distance from campus is so convenient!
I honestly love it here! The room is bigger than I had originally expected, and it's on north campus, so it's super convenient for classes! Also, it's on Franklin, so that's easily accessible, and there's a Target located right outside that's perfect for anything you may need.
I love the location and the people who work at Granville. The Agora is one of the best places to eat food on campus. I wouldn't what to live anywhere else
I think Granville is great!! I love how spacious the rooms are, and I like how it is only 4 to one bathroom versus 8 to one. I also like that they are close to my classes!
The heating system could be better, but the food is dope. The rooms are super nice, and its really close to campus. Everyone on staff is super nice. The parking isn't great though.
The Traditional Double at Granville has a really great layout and the Agora makes dining very convenient. Sometimes people can be rowdy during quiet hours, but the RA on duty can be called if it becomes too noisy.
I have been very satisfied so far with my experience of living at Granville Towers. From the great food at the Agora to having house cleaning come once a week, my experience has been wonderful!
Lately construction has been keeping me up in the mornings but cute dorms and nice community for the most part. I love most of the Ag workers but there’s one grumpy cook. Had some maintenance issues in the beginning of the year.
Great place to live! The rooms are very spacious and clean. Granville is close to Franklin street, classes, and has many great amenities. Delicious food, fun people, a workout room, a pool, and a 24-hour assistance desk.
Granville provides a place that does have some good things, the food is good and the community is as well. However, there are some setbacks.
Granville towers is awesome! Such a good location in comparison to Franklin Street, classes, and the frats. Granville does have an issue with fire alarms going off in the morning.
I really love the location. It is unbeatable. The food at the agora is pretty good. My only complaint is the heating and air conditioning. It is impossible to actually keep your room at a good temperature.
I love Granville!! I love being close to classes, the Agora, and I am so thankful for how it is set up. I am thankful for the sink in our room and only sharing a bathroom with 4 people
Living standards are great, the Agora does an excellent job of mixing up the food options so that you don't get tired of it after 2 weeks. The gym is a little small but that's ok.
Granville towers is filled with fun people. The dorms are large; but dirty. The Agora serves
mediocre food, but late night is where it is at! Love my suite & the people I met.
My resident experience has been enjoyable. Whenever something is wrong in my room the response team is very timely. I also enjoy the convenience of the Agora and gym.
I love Granville. The people and community are incredible. I do however not like the heating and cooling system because it’s too hot and old
I I think that there should be another way to control the temperature because it is too hot in my room and I have constantly leave my window open and leave my fan on and it still too hot in my room.
Love living here! The food at the Agora could be improved upon, quality wise, but they have a good selection of snacks and beverages! The salad bar rocks
Granville has some great features like having laundry in all of the buildings, a gym, and a dining hall in such close proximity. However the mildew in my room is making me sick and the maintenance people can’t do anything about it. There’s been black and brown water flowing from the showers on fairly frequent occasions. Also the air conditioning does not work.
Agora always has delicious and fresh food with a range of options. Staff at the desk are always helpful. Amenities are generally very nice, and any issues can be sorted out with maintenance fairly easily.
i love it here!! the food in the Agora is great, the people (both staff and students) are great, the location (so close to Target :) and Franklin Street in general) is great. 10/10 recommend
The accomodations at a Granville are really nice and everything is kept in a great state. The food is better then that found at the Agora and having your own dining hall so near by is really convenient!
I love granville! it is most definitely the best place to live in chapel hill! :) Great place where I have formed great friendships that will last a lifetime!
Overall a great experience; only minor complaints like it being a little dated and the mold in the room. However, it is much more modern than any other dorm!
I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Granville so far! There have been very few, if any, problems that I have had while living here! I believe that the staff works hard and does their best to make Granville a great place to live!
The experience of living in granville is actually pretty good, but it can be loud and the hesting and cooling needs to be fixed because my room has been very hot recently. Other than those two things it has been great and convenient.
i really enjoy living at granville as the food is delicious. it isn’t too far from campus and the rooms are really nice. the only thing that bugs me a bit is that foods at granville are labeled vegetarian all the time even if they are. other than that living at granville has been a blast.
Great experience with RA and very enthusiastic staff. Very spacious rooms and awesome food. Convenient location in relation to campus and Franklin St.
Living here was the best decision I’ve ever made. Location is unbeatable and amenities are nice as far as dorm living is concerned. Maintanence is relatively reliable. My only complaint is the dirtiness of the air vents, it is rather gross and they spread excessive bacteria.
I have a great time living a Granville! The staff are all very nice, and I love my roommate and suitemates. I never have a problem with noise and I have more than enough space for all of my stuff. The walk to campus is about as good as it gets and the walk to Franklin Street is just as good.
Very accommodating to all your needs freshman year! The administration puts on lots of fun events and it makes it more enjoyable to live in. The agora rocks and is so close to your living space. Overall a great place to live
The rumor that Granville is a party dorm is true, but not in a good way. Every night I lie awake and wonder what eldritch abomination could be making so much noise at 1 am and realize that it’s the dudes across the hall. I mean if you’re gonna blast music at midnight at least blast good music. The RA doesn’t do anything about it because she’s blasting even louder music. My friends don’t believe me when I say that I get more sleep in Davis library than in my dorm until they enter my room and feel the literal vibrations from the 10 or so boom boxes that are constantly at max volume 24/7. At least the foods good 3/5
Granville towers has been wonderful! I’m currently a freshman and was wondering if i’d Like it here and so far I could not ask for anything better. Between the staff and the agora it’s great!
Granville Towers is a wonderful place to live with great amenities and a very nice location. The staff are very friendly and always willing to help!
Granville's location is the best part about living here. It is ridiculously expensive and the rooms are not worth the money, but the location is awesome. The heat and air conditioning system is really messed up. The agora is so good and very convenient.
Living at Granville as a freshman has been great. I love the location and staff is always helpful! The agora staff is my favorite also with the very sweet cleaning staff!
the food is really good, the RA’s are super nice, the location is great, housekeeping could do a bit better on the cleanliness aspect, but other than that it’s good
My hall is great. We are all good friends and hang out just about every day. I have no complaints about living here. The location is really good too. It’s nice being close to everything on franklin street.
I love Granville! It's right near Franklin St and also close to my classes. The Agora is one of the best dining facilities on campus and the staff is always nice to me when I come in.
overall, i love granville. however, my old roommate and i didn’t get along. when i told the community supervisor i was being sexually harassed they really didn’t do anything
So far I have had a great experience here at Granville towers. It is super nice and the food is awesome. I would definitely recommend it to a friend.
I love granville Towers. i have had such a wonderful experience. The location is great, and the staff are awesome people. I love how they hold community things like the carnival, thanksgiving dinner and more.
I love living in granville! Everyone is helpful and nice. And the agora has some great food. Also cleaning service is amazing. best place to live as a freshman at unc!
I really like all of the amenities at Granville, and I appreciate the many friendly staff members that work there. My only complaint would be that it does tend to be pretty loud and the walls are thin, but that doesn't really bother me unless I'm trying to do work.
Granville Towers is a little cliquey, and the temperature in the building has nothing to do with the thermostat so it is erratic. The agora is great.
For the most part I really like my apartment community. My only issues are that they are sometimes loud and I do not know many of them because they keep to themselves.
Granville has been the best place to live my freshman year!! The location is convenient and the rooms are super nice!! The staff is always very helpful and I have the best RA!
Granville Towers has been the place to be at UNC for my freshman year. I love the gym and the friendly staff at the Agora. The cleaning staff is so lovely!
I have loved living here! The location is unbeatable, and the amenities are incredible! Your dining hall is steps away, laundry is in every building, and their gym is incredible with Netflix and Hulu enabled machines!
I love the location of Granville Towers. It is so close to Target and Franklin Street and campus! My RA is also the greatest and is always planning events.
Good. At times I may even equate it to very good. But usually that is a stretch. The guy at the grill can be mean but he makes some good omelets.
I've had a great time living in Granville Towers! (minus how hot the rooms were when we got back from fall break). Being able to make friends on your hall and being this close to target are the best things about UNC
The location of the towers are fantastic and you are in walking distance to most everything you need. The maintenance is quick if something is broken.
My resident experience has been relatively fun. Granville is a nice place to come home to and I’m grateful to be able to call it my home . The food and convenience of a gym is very nice !
Granville Towers is a great place to live! The amenities are nice, the staff is nice and the location is great! Wonderful place to live my first and second year. Had some roommate problems but they were very accommodating and helpful.
I really enjoy living in Granville. The food is really good and always changing and so close to me. I also enjoy living on a Co-Ed hall because it keeps things interesting
These are great dorm rooms in a great area. They are big, and also the maintenance and office staff are always friendly and quick to respond to issues. I have loved my time here and will always recommend it to others.
I love the Granville community. The people are very socialable, yet they are also dedicated to academics. The Agora is a fantastic dining hall as well!
The absolute best place to live at Carolina! I love the location, the amenities, and the community. It's proximity to Franklin Street makes life easier.
I like living in Granville because it is near all my classes. There is a gym and an eating site plus it is on Franklon Street. I have never had any issues living there and I have been there for almost 3 years now.
Granville Towers is conveniently located near UNC’s main campus. The Agora always has something good to eat. I enjoy having a gym in the building.
I love Granville Towers! It has been the best experience! The food is great and so are the students and staff. Granville Towers has made me feel at home while away from home!!
Very friendly staff with quick services. The facilities can sometimes be inconvenient and in need of repair but is otherwise a good experience.
Granville towers have been a great place for me as a first year student at UNC! I love the location, and my classes are all close! The dorms are comfortable and feel like home.
very nice rooms!! all RA’s are great, very nice staff and overall a lot of fun. maintenance works fast to fix all of our issues and everything works out well!!
Granville Towers is a great place to live. It’s at the perfect location, and has all the amenities you may need. It only takes about 5 minutes to walk to campus and is right next to all the amazing dining and shopping areas on Franklin Street.
Granville is an amazing place to live it's so close to campus and the community is always thriving doing fun stuff and hanging out. You become family with the people on your hall and you always got the Agora which is like the best social gathering at UNC.
The rooms are spacious and nothing beats the proximity to class. The Agora has great dining options. Also, being close to Franklin Street is convenient.
It has been great so far. The food is great everything is awesome except for my ac. The ac blows cold air but makes a really loud sounds every once and a while and we called maintenance twice and they were unable to fix it.
Granville is the place to live as a first year at UNC. The facilities are top notch, the Agora is always amazing, and each RA is in your business enough to care but not over the top.
LOVE living here!!! Such a good location and central to lots of things in chapel hill! The agora is so good (definitely better than lenoir)!
So far, living at Granville has been a positive experience. The amenities are great, and I am especially pleased with the gym and Agora. The RA program is great. The only issues I have had thus far is cleanliness and maintenance issues within my room.
The people are very sweet and the food is delicious. Everything is very accessible, including dining, a gym and study rooms. Also, the location is hard to beat.
I absolutely love it! Everything is so accessible and convenient, I can go to Target while I’m doing laundry, all in around 30 minutes!!!!!!!
Granville has a great location to classes and Franklin Street. The atmosphere is great and supportive for first year UNC students. The services provided are also great.
The location and convenience that Granville provides is unbeatable for the first year experience. I would highly recommend that if you are living on campus, this is the place to be.
I love my experience here! I feel that the staff is very welcoming gnawing brings a tight community together. I also feel that this serves as a community where I can make close friends.
I really enjoy the environment at Granville not only involving the statf but with the students who live here as well. Everything is always clean and the food at the Agora is good.
I really enjoy living in Granville towers. I am in the west tower, so having the agora in my building has been extremely convenient. The only thing I would have to complain about is that our AC has been unreliable thus far
I wish Granville would make some t-shirts, because I have a "Go Granville, Go America" shirt and everyone thinks it vintage and wants one. The dining hall should make more Mac and cheese but everything else is awesome
I love how close to campus it is. The amenities are very nice and for the most part, all workers are very nice and friendly. I love that there is a small gym in West.
I enjoy the hall style rooms, with four people to our bathroom. Also, the sink in the room is very useful. Additionally, there is unlimited printing, and the Agora is high quality for a dining hall.
I like the proximity to campus as well as Franklin Street as well as the state/layout of the rooms and the buildings.
However, there have been several maintenance issues that take a substantial amount of time be fixed.
I absolutely love Granville Towers. The location is so convenient. I am close to my classes, close to Franklin St, have the agora and the gym. I would definitely live here next year.
I love Granville! It has everything I could ever want! Food, laundry, easy access to Franklin Street, and best of all the nicest dorms on campus!!! It has been my perfect home away from home!
The food is pretty good. The rooms are nice and large. The air quality seems to be not the best though because everyone is always getting sick.
My experience has been okay. Living in a dorm has definitely been an adjustment and I have gotten sick and have no recovered which I think is due to communal living. But the rooms are nice and the amenities are very nice as well.
Everyone living here at Granville is really great, and the amenities and staff are more than I could ask for. I’m really glad I chose to live here!
Would not want to live anywhere else. Close to everything I need. I have been to south campus once and it does not even compared to Granville.
Granville really is the best place to be at UNC! Convenient place because you’re close to target, Franklin street, The Agora, and classes!! And rooms are AMAZING!
I am loving it so far. The amenities are what makes living here worth it. I have everything I need right at my fingertips. Also, Granville's location is great. It is near Franklin and my classes.
Granville Towers has been really convenient this year. The location is really nice and, for the price, the food is good. Housekeeping for the bathrooms is really convenient and the people who work here are very nice. The only problem is that it is loud at night and the rooms are not very soundproof. You can hear pretty much everything.
Granville towers has been an excellent place for my freshman year. I have enjoyed the services provided and the agora being in the lobby of the west tower.
I like how Granville is quiet and clean. Although, the agora has good food but it could add more vegetarian options. I also like how the agora has smoothie nights and they bring in ethic foods, for example, indian and greek foods.
my personal experience has been great so far. I love my suitemates so much. we have all become best friends, and for that I am so thankful.
Clean, friendly, convenient, spacious, great location. Proximity to the Agora is a great luxury and makes eating hassle-free. Proximity to classes and Franklin Street make the location second to none.
Its been good so far! Granville always responds to maintenance requests less than 24 hours after the form is filled out, which is amazing. The amenities are in very good condition and always available to residents.
Great place to live. There are a few mishaps here and there but that’s about it. Thats really all I have to say but I have to meet the 140 character limit
When I moved in the sink drawer was crooked and the door towel rack was broken but otherwise it’s a great place to live! I love having a sink in my room any my own bathroom!
I love it! Granville is so nice. I visited my friend s on south campus and I was like wow I really made the right choice. The food is amazing, the rooms are nice and clean, everything is kept up nicely.
I enjoy living in Granville. Having the Agora in my building is super convenient, as well as the free printing station. I adore the maintenance and Agora staff, they are all so friendly and considerate
Very good so far. I have not had many issues with Granville besides how you can hear everything in the hallway and other rooms, and as well as our bathroom ceiling leaking.
The amenities are amazing, always clean and open at very convenient hours. The location is perfect, with a short walk to any of my classes and anywhere else I would want to go. The community is largely into Greek-life, which I am not affiliated with, and my hall is fairly quiet, so it is not the traditional "freshman dorm experience" but it is a good experience anyway!
It's been great. House keeping does am awesome job and is always so polite. The agora always had great food and the staff is so nice. The gym is always clean
Granville has more of a social aspect (with regards to Greek life) than I was aware of when I signed a lease, and had I known, I wouldn’t have lived here.
Everyone is very friendly, the food is great, and Granville has the best location on campus. My RA is super friendly and throws events with free food.
This is the perfect living space for a incoming freshman just because you get the best of everything. You are right beside franklin street and still only 10 mins away from your classes and the staff is great.
Granville Towers is a great place to live as a first-year student. The proximity to Franklin Street and classes make it a great location. Also, the food at the Agora is good compared to dining halls.
So far it’s been great. I don’t have any Complaints and it’s been nice to stay here. The location is perfect. Really close to campus and target.
Living at Granville has made UNC the best experience ever! It is so convenient to everything on campus and all the staff are so inviting and friendly.
Granville towers has provided me a safe and welcoming environment for my Freshmen year at UNC. All of the staff is friendly and helpful. The food at the Agora is also good.
I really enjoy living in Granville because of the space and the freedom to come and go without a super huge commute to get to fun places. ❤️
Great location and community, some problems in room i.e. leaks or ac problems, but have received help from maintenance. Great food and events in dining hall.
Everyone is friendly and helpful. The Resident Adivisors are always there to help. The Agora has very good options and a nice variety. It’s great.
I love Granville Towers. It is so sick and totally the place to be at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The agora rocks! Food is so yum!
Great rooms, good support from RA and staff. Only complaint is insufficient vegetarian and healthy food options in the agora, I would prefer less “fake meat” and more vegetable and grain heavy vegetarian meals (we can’t survive on just salads). Also, please include more whole-grains.
I like how it is not like the traditional dorms here, because I do not like the way that they are set up and I like the way the bathrooms are with only four people. But the food could be way better. Please try organic!
I love living in Granville. The space is nice and I love my RA and hall. However, the air in Granville that comes out of the vents is making us all sick and needs to be cleaned!
The location is convenient and amenities and room size are nice. However, it's hard to meet people that aren't involved in greek life if that's not your thing.
The FitnessGram™ Pacer Test is a multistage aerobic capacity test that progressively gets more difficult as it continues. The 20 meter pacer test will begin in 30 seconds. Line up at the start. The running speed starts slowly, but gets faster each minute after you hear this signal.
Living space is modern and clean, had some problems with our shower in the first couple weeks but it was taken care of and hasn’t been a problem since. Location is perfect and I’m very happy I chose Granville.
It has been amazing living here. The staff in the agora, maintenance and housekeeping are out of this world. The community and environment provided makes this one of the best places on campus.
Overall the experience is great, everything is so convenient. One downside is the AC - my room is freezing cold no matter what. Mantenaince is timely in their requests. All the staff are very friendly!
The food has been great with lots of variety; the room is nice and having a cleaning service makes things even easier. I enjoy the RA’s and the staff are extremely friendly.
Staying at Granville Towers has been an amazing living experience. The location, amenities and kindness of he staff is unbeatable. I would definitely live at Granville towers again.
This complex is the best location to live in while being a UNC student. Classes are a shorter walk, the Target is very convenient for any last minute checkouts, and the infamous Franklin Street is a couple paces away.
Living here was one of my best decisions coming here. Everyone becomes friends and we share a new chapter with everyone. The only reason why it is 4/5 stars is because maintenance doesnt really know what theyre doing
I love living in Granville! The agora is amazing and the people are so nice!! It’s so close to classes and Franklin St. The rooms are so much bigger than normal dorms!
The staff is great! And the food at the Agora is so good! However, the walls are really thin, so you can hear everything, and if you turn off the AC and turn it back on it leaks.
I love living in Granville towers because the location is so great. It's so close to Franklin Street and all of my classes on campus! I would recommend living in Granville towers.
I absolutely love my roommate and my suitemate and am so lucky to have such a close group of friends. Right down the hall and on the floor below us, we've made so many friends. On top of that, my RA is amazing!
I love the convience of location and having the agora! We are so close to classes! The residence assistant is so helpful and kind. Granville is great!
I love living in Granville! It is so convenient and a great community for UNC students! My classes are so close and it’s great having the Agora right there!
I love the suite style and sharing a bathroom a that connects to my two other friends , it allows us to really get to know each other. I also enjoy the Agora, especially Late night.
Living here is great! It’s so close to all my classes and to Target and Franklin street. The Agora is super nice and the gym is really convenient. The only thing I dislike is how loud it is.
I like Granville! The sound level is good and I dont have too mabg complaints. The only thing I would say is that the cleaning people need to be a little bit more careful. Last week, the person who cleaned the bathroom spilled cleaner all over the floor. Like all over the floor and didnt clean it up or mention it to me to clean up.
I enjoy living in Granville Towers. I like the room spaces, the size and setup. I enjoy my living community and the amenities, including the gym, printers, Agora, and study spaces.
The Granville community is extremely welcoming. Having amenities such as the Agora and a gym in the East tower are very convenient. I would definitely recommend living here to incoming freshman.
The rooms are clean and in a great location. I love the cleaning of bathrooms and the set up of rooms. The only downside is the wait on maintenance to get things fixed.
Everyone is helpful and my RA is super nice, but the Agora claimed to have good vegetarian options, when they really only have 1 per day, and it's not really that good. Otherwise, everything is awesome!
I love living in Granville! The location, amenities, and community are unmatched by South Campus. I cannot imagine living anywhere else my first year at Carolina.
I enjoy the location of Granville Towers as well as the Agora's dining services. However, I have had some issues with maintenance in my room. I have had to submit many requests.
It is awesome. Really convenient dining hall, weight room, laundry, and cleaning services. Everyone is very open and welcoming and social and awesome
Granville truly is the “Place to be at UNC”! I love living here and I love that everything you need is right outside your building. The Agora is by far the best part and I couldn’t imagine living anywhere else!
I love Granville! The only thing I would say that stopped me from giving it 5/5 star rating is that sometimes it can get a little loud in the hallways, especially on weekends. I really appreciate quiet hours though!!
Excellent experience overall...from the accommodations to the food, everything is exceptional quality. Granville also has a wonderful staff who loves what they do and are very helpful.
I think that Granville is a great community that puts a lot of effort into organizing social events and promoting open communication. The RAs are great as well.
I have enjoyed living here. The rooms are spacious, the staff is very helpful, the amenities are convenient and the Agora is amazing. I like the environment and location of this residence area and would stay here again.
I enjoy the room very much. It is not the most spacious, but I can fit a futon inside. The food here is quite incredible, and there are different choices every day.
I love the community here and the location of the towers. The staff is very friendly and nice and its a good place to live. I also like having a gym on site.
I absolutely love it here. The food is great and the facilities are top notch. I will definitely try and sign another lease next year. This is the place to be at UNC.
I love it here! The food and people are great! The staff is extremely attentive and fixes problems when they occur. I could not imagine living anywhere else on campus.
So far, Granville has been an amazing experience where I have met many people from all over the country. The RA and everyone I have met have been extremely nice and accommodating.
Everything is incredibly clean and well managed. I love living here. The staff is friendly and the community is welcoming. The food is also great.
Living here has been great. The Agora is excellent, I have no issue with the rooms (which are spacious and cool) and the staff is extremely gracious. A+
Granville is a very nice place to spend your first year at UNC. The facilities are amazing and very modern. The food in the Agora is amazing.
Granville is a fantastic place to live. The price is definitely reasonable, especially considering that meals are included. The walk to campus is short, and it is also conveniently located right off of Franklin Street, providing access to any stores, restaurants, entertainment you could want.
I absolutely love Granville and if given the chance to go back and decide between south campus and Granville again, I would choose Granville just as easily as I did the first time.
I personally have loved my experience here. The food has enough variety where you feel like you aren’t eating the same thing everyday. The rooms are comfortable. The maintenance works fast. The only issue for me is the cleanliness of the shower roof.
Granville has been very enjoyable. I like the proximity to classes and to Franklin Street. Also, the suite style is preferable. The amenities like the gym and the dining hall are nice.
Awesome place to stay. Lots of cool people, amenities that are close by, and various social events. The only annoying part is the slightly longer walk to campus.
I believe that the conditions here are superb, that the staff are very friendly and helpful, and that the general facilities are beautifully maintained
Granville is conveniently located near classes and Franklin Street. I never have to worry about rushing to get to class on time since it is so close to Phillips, Peabody, and other buildings.
I think it is so great for me to live in Granville Tower in the first year. Except one thing, girls in my floor sometimes get really noisy and thus annoying in the quiet hours.
I love living at Granville because of the convenience. I am able to get to all of my classes in under 20 minutes and when I want a break, Franklin Street is right there!
Living here is so convenient and is such a great place. The food in the Agora is so good, and the RAs are all so nice. It is also one of the closest residence halls to campus.
I love living in Granville. The Agora is my favorite place and it has the best food ever and all I have to do is go downstairs! I also love the study lounges because they allow me to focus on school.
My RA is the absolute sweetest, and the Agora is better than I imagined... all my friends from South Campus are amazed by it! All of the staff are so helpful, and Granville really cares about its residents.
I really like granville towers! The buildings are really nice and clean and maintenance is really good. The staff is also always really helpful and nice. Overall it is a really good environment.
Granville towers is a decent place to live; I can make pasta at 4:00am, and I have a room to myself. Overall, quite comfortable, and would stay here again.
Everyone has been so kind and very accommodating! This already feels like home and I absolutely cannot wait for more adventures here with my friends!
Living at Granville has been a great experience so far! It's really nice to have all of my amenities close to me, and be such a short walk from campus. Not to mention we're right on Franklin!
I’ve really enjoyed living in Granville. I’m in the east tower and I love the people on my hall, we’re coed and we’re all first years which is really nice. The RAs are all super sweet and the agora is great!
I enjoy the variety of food the Agora offers everyday. But, some people on my floor are not so obedient of the floor’s rules such as “quiet hours.”
Compared to my living situation last year, Granville has a much friendlier, community feel. Last year, I barely knew anyone on my floor. This year, it's just the opposite. Also, the food is a lot better.
Alexander J. E.
I love Granville Towers, although I do wish that the buildings were kept more modern and up to date because they are quite old. The rooms are a great size and the agora has a good selection of food!
I enjoy the food at the agora and the people here are nice as well. I like that I don’t have to clean my bathroom and the staff are helpful and nice.
This is a very friendly community and the staff is always there to help you if need help. The room are also very spacious and quiet, making it a perfect place to rest and study.
Granville is the best place to live at UNC. With its amazing location on Franklin street, attentive staff, and spacious rooms, no one wants to move out by the end of the year.
It’s a great place to live! The staff are very friendly and the food is pretty good. I like that the laundry machines are accessed via an app.
Food is good. AC is cold. RAs are chill. Dorms are small. Hallways are tight/small. Location is prime. Target is super close. Right on Franklin.
The rooms and bathrooms were nice! Whenever something was wrong, maintenance always responded quickly. The Agora was always awesome and I was always able to find something good to eat.
Granville is a great place to live with it’s own gym and dinning hall, unlike walking from on campus dorms to do these things. Granville also provides a closer walk to class and a great since of community.
Granville is a great place for the first year experience. It is a short walk to both campus and Franklin Street. The food is great and right downstairs from your dorm.
Granville is a great place to live! The location is the best since it is so close to campus and Franklin Street. The agora also has many options and they taste great!
The Communist Manifesto (originally Manifesto of the Communist Party) is an 1848 political pamphlet by the German philosophers Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels.
The facilities are really nice! I love being right next to the dinning hall and the gym. It's really nice to not have to walk all the way across campus. This dorm isn't quite as soical as other freshman dorms on campus though.
Granville is the perfect place to live when at UNC. It is the perfect walking distance to classes and has all the amenities you need for your dorm life.
Staff was always available when I needed something, and were happy to help. Location of the dormitory was ideal. No glaring issues, overall a great experience!
Living at Granville was a great experience, especially as a first-year student. It allowed me to meet people who I became very close friends with. The location is great since you're so close to Franklin and campus, which is helpful when adjusting to college.
I love being a resident of Granville Towers. The location could not be better. Granville Towers is situated between campus and Franklin Street, so everything is within walking distance. The Agora is great for quick, easy, tasty food. The only thing I wish they would add is outdoor seating, maybe picnic tables.
Granville is the place to be at UNC. I have so many memories and new friends all due to my choice to live at Granville. It has the best location and people!
I loved living here. The people that work here are very nice & always willing to help. It is a really nice place to live. The place is setup nicely & always clean. They have printers & things that you can use that is very helpful.
Loved the overall Granville experience, except for the RAs. The food at the agora can get old quickly and should be healthier. Overall Granville is a great place to meet people.
I definitely enjoyed living in Granville last year. It offered so many things that you would regularly have to travel to get to, such as a gym, cafeteria, or quiet study lounge. The food in the Agora is also very good.
Overall very nice rooms, and the Agora is great. However, the AC system was always very unreliable in that it always left the temperature very unregulated even when we set it to a certain temperature.
Living in Granville is extremely convenient when it comes to the location and the amenities! Though the noise level is often above ideal, living in Granville has been an overall great experience.
The people around us were all friends so they sometimes got to be a little loud at night. The food was pretty good and I like that they had special dinners or deserts every few weeks. The staff were all very friendly! Definitely living here again
I had a great experience at Granville Towers. The staff is very nice and there is a wide range of amenities, all of which are kept clean and up to date.
I've had a great experience at Granville. This is my second year here and I have enjoyed the agora, amenities, and door life. The maintenance is great and responsive.
The rooms are amazing! Nice and big. The only problem is that the walls are paper thin, so you don’t have much privacy from your neighbors, and there’s a chance minimum noise will lead to a noise complaint. The agora is good, not much variety with meals, but that’s every college dining hall. Love the themed nights at agora. Also love all of the events COGO puts on for residents! It’s so much fun living here
Great location friendly staff. Really really really really really really really really really really really really enjoyed living here. Will recommend to incoming freshmen
More meal options would help along with a feedback form on the food. Maintenance is usually timely but does not always fix the problem completely.
There is not a better location for a UNC freshman to live. Franklin Street is a few steps away and campus is so close. Out of all of the options available for freshman, I would not have wanted to live anywhere else.
Granville is the best option for first year living. They run fun community events and have good amenities. The food is just okay, and since it is located right next to frat Court, it can be pretty noisy. The roommate selection process was a breeze.
Granville has great amenities and is a close walk to campus. It’s a great place for the first year experience. The Agora has a good food selection as well.
The amenities provided by Granville are amazing! Having the Agora in the same building you live in is a great motivator to actually go and eat because sometimes as college kids, we tend to skip meals!
The room is nice, but a little noisy. It feels a little isolated but overall has been a good experience and I enjoy being so close to Target and Franklin Street.
Granville has been a great place to live during my first year at UNC Chapel Hill. I am also living in Granville for my sophomore year in a Franklin style room. I can’t wait!
Anna Grace L.
I love living in Granville. It’s close to campus and the staff is always sweet. The Agora food is decent. I wish there were more healthy and organic options.
Great place to live! Close to main campus (literally a 10 min walk or less). Super convenient dining as well. Granville community rewards is also definitely a perk.
Granville is a great option for a first-year. The food, staff, and friends are all great! Living at Granville allows you to be in a great location and you are close to so many food options if you don't want to eat in the agora.
I enjoy it here! I think it is the best place for first years to live on campus. I think that it is the best college experience on campus for living.
cool dorm. cool people. bad food. no ac. kinda sucks. toga topo yopo drada ugga jfos365 robbitty rhino mango marmalade lemon trisket scotch and whiskey
when i was 13 i had a mouth of braces and all kinds of food got stuck in my teeth because they were always stuck in the spaces fresh raps lol
I love this place, it's so amazing. coming here everyday is makes my life worth living god bless granville towers and allah. ten out of ten1
i have had a very good first year experience living in granville towers and i would recommend it to all my friends. everything about granville is extremely convenient.
Best place to live on campus. Has great food, great location, and a great staff. Everyone is so eager to help you with whatever you need to make it feel like home.
This year's experience is far better than last year's. The green space and the opening of the agora entrances w/ granville's proximity to target is awesome.
Granville’s location was a big selling point for me but if the ease of access to Franklin Street and classes isn’t enough for you, the staff and amenities are unmatched!
My time has been great at Granville! The location is perfect and I’ve made awesome friends! I love the themed dinner nights and events every month!
Staff and maintenance are great. Although it can be noisy at times, since we are so close to the popular night-life scene, my hall in the west building has been pretty reasonable. RA's are also great.
This year hasn’t been a great experience. I have been amazed by the activities that not only our RAs put on but COGO can accomplish as well. I’m glad that I spent my freshman year in granville.
Living in Gville has been the best freshman experience. From the community events, to the food in the Agora, to working out in the gym with friends, to living with a great community of RAs and other residents, it is always a blast. Having everything so close to "home" is great! Target is a weekly visit and less than a minute walk, rushing Franklin is made easy with a 2 minute run to TOPO, and campus is a quick 5 minute walk. Living at college was never easier.
My experience at Granville so far has been very good and I have enjoyed my time here. The agora satisfies my meals and ensured there’s always new food to eat.
Noise levels can be loud at times, but overall love the staff and the location/area. The agora's food could be improved; meaning the different offerings of foods.
I've loved my two years living in Granville towers! I would definitely recommend living in Granville to a friend, as it was the best dorm to live in freshman year!
so friendly with great staff - wish there was free temporary parking for residents who only need to be there for about 2 hours.. otherwise great place to live!
Granville Towers is a great place to live. It’s in an extremely convenient location, and the community here is fantastic. #PlaceToBeAtUNC !!
I love that I have the opportunity to meet a diverse group of people here. I feel completely comfortable and at home. The Agora is awesome and has great food. The rooms are a decent size and the private suite bathroom is very nice compared to campus hall style bathrooms. Overall, I'll be sad to leave this place next year.
Great atmosphere and love all of the amenities, including the gym, printers, and study areas. It is very convenient that the dining hall is on location.
I have enjoyed this place and the agora. The location is convenient and I can't imagine living anywhere else on campus for my first year of college at UNC
Having a dining hall, laundry services, a gym, and lounges for studying all within the same is incredible. And the staff is always positive and helpful!
I love the convenience of Granville Towers! The staff members are incredibly friendly and nice. The maintenance workers are competent. My only complaint would be the high noise level late at night.
Absolutley love my RAs and the people on my floor. I am just a freshman, I didnt I didnt know what coming to college would be like. However Granville feels like a second home and I will be living here next year.
The experience has been mostly good, although I have had problems with a few things, such as air flow in the rooms. Also have had problems with ladybugs.
Granville is a nice place to live at UNC, especially when compared to the freshmen dorms on campus. However, I believe that some renovations to the rooms need to be made.
Granville is a very fun place to live in a great location. It is super close to all of my classes and Franklin Street. The rooms are really nice and large.
Granville is a great place to stay, especially as a first year at Carolina. It is very close to campus and right off Franklin St. The dorms are a good size and there are great amenities, especially the gym that is right below one of the towers.
Living at Granville has been wonderful! The staff is super friendly, particularly Diane in the Agora and the West tower desk attendants. Granville is in an ideal location and has great amenities!
The community is very nice. Staff are helpful, prompt, and friendly. The food is really good and maintence is always there if Assistance is needed. My RA is a great resource and the students around my dorm follow quiet hours. Can’t complain about anything
Love living in Granville. It feels like a hotel. Very comfortable and everyone is really nice. The staff is also very friendly. Wish they would sell more parking passes for all the spots that there is
Granville Towers’ rooms and bathrooms are nice, the location in relation to franklin street and classes is great, and the staff are very nice and helpful
Granville is the best option for first year living. They run fun community events and have good amenities. The food is just okay, and since it is located right next to frat Court, it can be pretty noisy. The roommate selection process was a breeze.
Granville is a really nice place to live because of its proximity to campus! I wish they would improve the bathrooms, there has been rust in our pipes several times.
Pretty good dorm. :) Accommodations and location are the best part. Love the setup. Sometimes the halls get a little rowdy late night/early morning, but the RA's are usually on it now. :)
Granville is a really nice place to live and the food in the agora is great. The only thing to keep in mind about Granville is that the other residents can be loud on Thursday nights.
Very beneficial first year experience, the food is okay, the management is good despite a couple RA's. Rooms are great quality and have a modern feel.
Granville Towers is an excellent place to live. Residents are well cared for and concerns are heard and attended to promptly. I would recommend this place to anyone.
The Black & White mocha mixes espresso with dark and white chocolate mocha and is topped with a line of “sparkly chocolate sequins to resemble a black tie,” a Starbucks spokesperson said in a statement. The other drinks include a Black & White hot chocolate, mixing the mocha with steamed milk, and a Black & White frappuccino, which blends mocha flavors and coffee with milk and ice.
I loved getting to be so close to not only my classes but also my new found friends. Granville is located in an amazing location and I had to blast with the agora themed dining moments
I like granville towers! It is a lot of fun and my roommate is an extremely great guy. I have bonded with him a lot and I hope my second semester is super fun!
I really enjoy the food at the Agora and the community and opportunities at Granville Towers. However, I wish the bathroom cleaning service was more through.
I have really enjoyed my time at Granville for several reasons. One reason is the assessability of the Agora and the various types of food offered there. Another reason is the friendliness of staff.
GREAT I love granville its so fun! I love it the rooms are so nice and the Agora(the dining hall) is 100!!!! The rooms are so nice and homey and comfy
Great place to live, great location near Franklin Street, and the Agora is great for a meal plan. Do Hibachi night again! That was the best meal at the Agora all semester
Really great staff and amenities. Housekeeping is always a plus and the maintenance is always prompt. Nice rooms and location. Can’t beat the location.
Rooms are nice. Food is ok. I HATE how the veggies are cooked with mergerine it makes them taste worse and really unhealthy!!!! They should just be steamed it saves you money and residence health!!!!
The location is wonderful, it’s right off of franklin and you can just walk to restaurants or go shopping. It is a very convenient location and it’s nice to be so close to everything
Everything is mainly great. The air condititioning is out of wack sometimes. The agora is great and convenient. The dorms are close to class
It’s nice, I️ like the people and my RA Justin Fouts. but, I wish our bathroom was cleaned better and the heat worked better. i hate that the AC/heat is either winter or summer. Also, the agora could get cleaned more often
Granville is the best place to live at UNC. The staff is so nice and it’s a location is perfect. Everything a student could need is easily accessible and it makes the adjustment to college so much smoother!
Very well accommodated, fixes things very quickly upon request, good food. The staff is always willing to help out when needed. The cleaning staff are super nice and fun to talk to, always very polite.
This is a very nice place to stay. Very clean and I love it. I have heard nothing but good things about this place. The RA's are also very helpful and also the front desk person. I will be staying here again next year because I liked it so much.
Granville Towers is a very good living space for a college student. Maintainable is good and the ease of access to many amenities really helps out to a person's benefit.
Everything at granville has been incredibly awesome! I really enjoyed the thanksgiving dinner. The only issue is that the internet has been a little funky recently.
Granville is equipped with the best amenities, such as study lounges, exercise facilities, and a cyber cafe. I have made so many new friends since becoming a part of the Granville community. Granville has everything that you could need in one place!
I love living here, it has been such an amazing experience and because of Granville, I have met some my best friends. It is the perfect location and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
Granville Towers is a great community. They always try to plan nice monthly events and the Agora regularly has better food than the other dining halls on campus.
Granville towers is the place to be at UNC. They could do more events to meet people on your hall since it is hard to meet a lot of people there and the elevators go out a lot. Other than that, the food is good and it is clean.
I love Granville! I wouldn't want to live anywhere else and all of my friends are jealous about all of they amenities and space we get. You can't beat the location either!
i think living here is very nice. the furniture in the room looks better and is better quality than on campus. people on the hall are sociable, which i like.
I really like my experience at Granville towers. The cleaning service once a week could use some improvement. Sometimes they do not clean as thoroughly when they should if it’s just one time a week.
It is ok, good food and staff! However I got stolen here, therefore If I was here to live next year, probably not Granville. For the rest, RA are pretty cool and rooms are cool too
Granville towers has been a great place to live freshman year! The location is so convenient to classes and to places such as restaurants on Franklin St. and Target!
Granville is close to campus, and popular for freshman. There are also amenities such as a workout facility, laundry, and the agora. The food in the agora could be better but it is okay for a college dining hall.
The shower drain has been giving us problems. It keeps spitting up dirt and bubbles and leaves the tub gross. Other than that I'm loving living in Granville.
Granville towers was great. I loved the location and the easy walks to class. The amenities were great and the noise level was also great. Granville is a good option.
Great location and love the Agora. However, it can be a little annoying to have maintence working on the floors when it is still fairly early in the morning.
Overall everything is good except all the outside noise and noise from the hall. It is hard to get enough sleep when there is a lot of noise coming from all the work outside
Granville is in a great location! We are so close to Franklin St and to classes! I also enjoy having the Agora just downstairs. The food is great!
I love Granville Towers because of the convenience. The convenience to my classes, the comvenience to good food, the convenience to a gym and others are things that make daily life so easy.
I love living at Granville Towers. It is so close and convenient to my classes and to Franklin Street. I recommend living at Granville Towers.
its been good to get to know new people and the food is pretty good. Wish the cafeteria was open the Sunday of Fall break as a bunch of us were back and there wasn't any food.
I loveeee living in Granville. It's so private, but close to campus. I do wish the walk home was a bit more lit so I felt safer come back late at night, but the amenities overall are fantastic.
Repair requests have been responded to very quickly. The environment is quiet, not too loud. I can reach anywhere I need to be on campus with a less than 15-minute walk. And now that the construction is done, getting to Franklin Street takes less than a minute.
Very good. Nice employees, big rooms. The food is very good. The location is very prime. Nice facilities, like gym and laundry machines. Good study lounges.
Granville has completely transformed my Carolina experience. I wouldn't have wanted to live anywhere else these past two years. Great location, dining hall, facilities, and staff!
Granville has a very good location close to everything. The Agora dining hall has a good variety of food and is very good. Having a gym built in is convenient.
Room is nice, I like the suite-style and having a bathroom. Really disappointed that the Agora's sanitation rating went down, though. The lobby, hallways, and elevators are usually dirty and have a nasty smell. Our cleaning lady spilt bleach on my rug and tried to hide it, but then when address didn't offer to do anything to make it right. Rooms are either freezing cold or too hot.
I've enjoyed living at Granville Towers. Positives: Nice large rooms and suite style living is very comfortable. Negatives: my room is constantly freezing and the food is just meh.
Granville towers is such an awesome place to live at UNC! I live in south tower, and the study lounge in the basement is great. The Agora, our cafeteria, serves really good food and adds to the great experience here!
Granville Towers is a great place for freshman at UNC to stay! It has a great location, only a 10 minute walk from mid-campus and Franklin Street is seconds away! The staff is great and The Agora beats on campus dining.
The staff is great and very friendly. A few problems with mold in the bathroom and bad smells (sulfur, garbage) come from vents in dorm room. Agora is amazing though, and Dianne is the sweetest. She always makes me feel at home!
Good but many people are strict on the quiet hours policy I think that during the weekend there should be no policy for loudness or it should start at midnight
The staff is helpful and friendly. Some of the RA’s are a little strict on noise though. The Agora is great, I enjoy the variety of food that it offers. I have very few complaints about Granville.
I love Granville because I have made so many friends through living in such a tight nit community. The doors on my floor are always open and we have a ton of fun.
Living at Granville as a sophomore has been great, and the dining hall is especially delicious (better than Rams and Lenoir!). However, living on the first floor is annoying when other residents walk out of the emergency exit because of the alarm...
I have an awesome hall. We are all friends. My room is really homey, however it can get gross and I have trouble with our bathroom breaking sometimes. Although there could definitely be some updates, Granville is the best option for forming on campus hands down. It is close to my classes and the agora is so much better than Lenoir.
Granville towers is a great place to live. The agora is great and the laundry and gym are very convinient. The location cannot be beat being so close to Franklin street and the frat court.
Granville towers is a fantastic experience. The rooms are clean and well laid out, the agora is even better than a restaurant, and I love how Granville offers a sense of community
I have had the absolute best experience with granville towers. I love the food in the agora, especially on taco and quesadilla day😂 I love how close it is to campus too!
I like Granville. It feels safe to me at night time. It’s in a great location. The food in the Agora is usually great. The rooms are a decent size. I don’t really have any complaints.
I have really enjoyed being at Granville during my time at Carolina! The location is a really great perk. Really fun community to be apart of!
Very nice compared to most dorms. Very conveniently located and clean. Agora supplies good options on most days, however it can be dirty at tables.
very nice living conditions for a dorm. workers are very friendly and the maintenance and housekeeping are very prompt. plentiful and nice accommodations as well
Granville Towers is a in a great location on the Chapel Hill campus. Easy access to Franklin Street is a huge benefit. Internet connectivity could be improved.
Everything has been really great except for a few minor instances where we had to call maintenance multiple times for the same problem. The agora is great, but sometimes the staff at front desk is not very well informed when I come with questions or need help.
So far my experience has been alright; it could be much better especially with my RA but for now it is fine. Other than that the rest of the staff is awesome.
Best Dorms on campus, great location, great residents, great amenities. I’ve enjoyed the “first year experience” halls and have met so many great people.
I love Granville Towers! Location is very convenient and there is a great community atmosphere. I would definitely recommend to anyone at UNC.
I just love granville towers. This place is truly a home away from home, the food is great and the room service is absolutely incredible. I love being here
Granville towers has been a good place to live so far, but it can sometimes feel like a bubble outside the rest of the UNC community. If south campus is having a community event, it would be cool if Granville could do something similar or have its own event day so there's less of a divide.
I really wish the Agora had better food sometimes, and sometimes maintenance is not conducted in an adequate amount of time, even for small issues.
Granville is a nice place to live, but it can be very loud, and the walls are paper thin. The food is decent and the monthly dinners/events are fun. I am very happy with my decision to live here, versus the on-campus dorms.
My hall mates make this place great for me. The agora has also been a lot better this year than last year I feel. Especially with the themed nights.
The location is hard to beat and the food is good. Amenities are better than what you would expect for a dorm. Staff is helpful as well which is a plus!
Everything is amazing here except the people. Everyone is in Greek life, which isn't necessarily bad, until the get loud af at 2 am.
Granvilles food is great at the aora, location is by far the most convenient.
The rooms are nice and it's a fairly peaceful place to be. The food is great. I like the study lounges. It's a safe place and it's at a really good location.
The community here at Granville is amazing! My floor is so close and great friendships have been formed between neighbors and even both RAs on my hall (4 West)! The different events and destressers the staff provides for us is a great way to end the day, get out, try something new, etc. and it's great that I don't have to go further than my home! The AG is a 10/10; I know there will always be something I like, or something new to try! (P.S. the gluten free brownies are amazing and we want them back!)
I am very happy living at Granville Towers. The rooms are spacious and provide a home-like feel, the community is very welcoming, and the amenities made available to students are second to none. I would definitely recommend living here to future students!
This place has an amazing social scene and is a ton of fun. The amenities are great and the staff have been really nice so far. The location of granville blows south campus away.
Living In Granville has been great. The staff is welcoming and the community kithcen is great to have. Move in went very smoothly and my RA is always there when I have any questions or concerns. Weekly bathroom clesnings are a MAJOR perk and somehting im very grateful
The rooms are nice and the staff is very helpful whenever I need anything. The agora is good and it changes up every day. Also, the walk to campus is a good distance.
Granville towers provides me with a great environment to live in and it really enhances my college experience. The food is great and I would definitely not want to live anywhere else on campus.
I have really enjoyed living in Granville Towers for the last two years! The rooms are large, and the location is great! I definitely recommend living here!
Granville truly is the place to be at UNC. The housing situation is fantastic, the community living experience has been an enlightening and holistic one.
Very attentive staff, however the community tends to be very strict. Some residential advisors are less approachable than others. Difficult to find parking.
The community has been overwhelmingly supportive, and the ammenities are fantastic, not to mention the location - which is so central to both the shops on franklin st and your classes each day
Granville Towers has a great location between Franklin Street and the main campus! Also, the food and dining services provide fresh options every day.
Very nice living community! The Agora is especially convenient, with great food too. The fitness studios and study rooms in the basement areas are also nice.
My RA is fantastic and the food is great. The cleaning is very sub par however and we still have to clean our bathrooms and vanity’s. Other than that it’s a great community
A great community to live in with excellent staff, though it can be quite loud if that isn't what you're looking for. Overall, I've had a great experience and would recommend to anyone!
My experience at Granville has been superb. My Ra is dope. The food is great. The amenities are good for college. The location is prime for Greek lie.
This is a really cool idea, I think that this plan encourages people to become more involved one granville affairs. I think that many resident will enjoy this feature.
The rooms are really nice. The bathroom service is good and the food in the agora is outstanding. I love it here, it has everything I need and a perfect location
The rooms are a good size for a dorm and it’s very close to campus. The food in the agora is great and much better than rams or lenoir on campus.
Granville towers is usually very nice, but sometimes it is not very clean and people are very loud late at night. The location is great so it is worth it.
