Granville towers is a decent place to live; I can make pasta at 4:00am, and I have a room to myself. Overall, quite comfortable, and would stay here again.
Everyone has been so kind and very accommodating! This already feels like home and I absolutely cannot wait for more adventures here with my friends!
Living at Granville has been a great experience so far! It's really nice to have all of my amenities close to me, and be such a short walk from campus. Not to mention we're right on Franklin!
I’ve really enjoyed living in Granville. I’m in the east tower and I love the people on my hall, we’re coed and we’re all first years which is really nice. The RAs are all super sweet and the agora is great!
I enjoy the variety of food the Agora offers everyday. But, some people on my floor are not so obedient of the floor’s rules such as “quiet hours.â€
Compared to my living situation last year, Granville has a much friendlier, community feel. Last year, I barely knew anyone on my floor. This year, it's just the opposite. Also, the food is a lot better.

I love Granville Towers, although I do wish that the buildings were kept more modern and up to date because they are quite old. The rooms are a great size and the agora has a good selection of food!
I enjoy the food at the agora and the people here are nice as well. I like that I don’t have to clean my bathroom and the staff are helpful and nice.
This is a very friendly community and the staff is always there to help you if need help. The room are also very spacious and quiet, making it a perfect place to rest and study.
Granville is the best place to live at UNC. With its amazing location on Franklin street, attentive staff, and spacious rooms, no one wants to move out by the end of the year.
It’s a great place to live! The staff are very friendly and the food is pretty good. I like that the laundry machines are accessed via an app.
Food is good. AC is cold. RAs are chill. Dorms are small. Hallways are tight/small. Location is prime. Target is super close. Right on Franklin.
The rooms and bathrooms were nice! Whenever something was wrong, maintenance always responded quickly. The Agora was always awesome and I was always able to find something good to eat.
Granville is a great place to live with it’s own gym and dinning hall, unlike walking from on campus dorms to do these things. Granville also provides a closer walk to class and a great since of community.
Granville is a great place for the first year experience. It is a short walk to both campus and Franklin Street. The food is great and right downstairs from your dorm.
Granville is a great place to live! The location is the best since it is so close to campus and Franklin Street. The agora also has many options and they taste great!
The facilities are really nice! I love being right next to the dinning hall and the gym. It's really nice to not have to walk all the way across campus. This dorm isn't quite as soical as other freshman dorms on campus though.
Granville is the perfect place to live when at UNC. It is the perfect walking distance to classes and has all the amenities you need for your dorm life.
Staff was always available when I needed something, and were happy to help. Location of the dormitory was ideal. No glaring issues, overall a great experience!
Living at Granville was a great experience, especially as a first-year student. It allowed me to meet people who I became very close friends with. The location is great since you're so close to Franklin and campus, which is helpful when adjusting to college.
I love being a resident of Granville Towers. The location could not be better. Granville Towers is situated between campus and Franklin Street, so everything is within walking distance. The Agora is great for quick, easy, tasty food. The only thing I wish they would add is outdoor seating, maybe picnic tables.
Granville is the place to be at UNC. I have so many memories and new friends all due to my choice to live at Granville. It has the best location and people!
I loved living here. The people that work here are very nice & always willing to help. It is a really nice place to live. The place is setup nicely & always clean. They have printers & things that you can use that is very helpful.
Loved the overall Granville experience, except for the RAs. The food at the agora can get old quickly and should be healthier. Overall Granville is a great place to meet people.
I definitely enjoyed living in Granville last year. It offered so many things that you would regularly have to travel to get to, such as a gym, cafeteria, or quiet study lounge. The food in the Agora is also very good.
Overall very nice rooms, and the Agora is great. However, the AC system was always very unreliable in that it always left the temperature very unregulated even when we set it to a certain temperature.
Living in Granville is extremely convenient when it comes to the location and the amenities! Though the noise level is often above ideal, living in Granville has been an overall great experience.
The people around us were all friends so they sometimes got to be a little loud at night. The food was pretty good and I like that they had special dinners or deserts every few weeks. The staff were all very friendly! Definitely living here again
I had a great experience at Granville Towers. The staff is very nice and there is a wide range of amenities, all of which are kept clean and up to date.
I've had a great experience at Granville. This is my second year here and I have enjoyed the agora, amenities, and door life. The maintenance is great and responsive.
The rooms are amazing! Nice and big. The only problem is that the walls are paper thin, so you don’t have much privacy from your neighbors, and there’s a chance minimum noise will lead to a noise complaint. The agora is good, not much variety with meals, but that’s every college dining hall. Love the themed nights at agora. Also love all of the events COGO puts on for residents! It’s so much fun living here
Great location friendly staff. Really really really really really really really really really really really really enjoyed living here. Will recommend to incoming freshmen
More meal options would help along with a feedback form on the food. Maintenance is usually timely but does not always fix the problem completely.
There is not a better location for a UNC freshman to live. Franklin Street is a few steps away and campus is so close. Out of all of the options available for freshman, I would not have wanted to live anywhere else.
Granville is the best option for first year living. They run fun community events and have good amenities. The food is just okay, and since it is located right next to frat Court, it can be pretty noisy. The roommate selection process was a breeze.
Granville has great amenities and is a close walk to campus. It’s a great place for the first year experience. The Agora has a good food selection as well.
The amenities provided by Granville are amazing! Having the Agora in the same building you live in is a great motivator to actually go and eat because sometimes as college kids, we tend to skip meals!
The room is nice, but a little noisy. It feels a little isolated but overall has been a good experience and I enjoy being so close to Target and Franklin Street.
Granville has been a great place to live during my first year at UNC Chapel Hill. I am also living in Granville for my sophomore year in a Franklin style room. I can’t wait!
Anna Grace L.
I love living in Granville. It’s close to campus and the staff is always sweet. The Agora food is decent. I wish there were more healthy and organic options.
Great place to live! Close to main campus (literally a 10 min walk or less). Super convenient dining as well. Granville community rewards is also definitely a perk.
Granville is a great option for a first-year. The food, staff, and friends are all great! Living at Granville allows you to be in a great location and you are close to so many food options if you don't want to eat in the agora.
I enjoy it here! I think it is the best place for first years to live on campus. I think that it is the best college experience on campus for living.
I love this place, it's so amazing. coming here everyday is makes my life worth living god bless granville towers and allah. ten out of ten1
i have had a very good first year experience living in granville towers and i would recommend it to all my friends. everything about granville is extremely convenient.
Best place to live on campus. Has great food, great location, and a great staff. Everyone is so eager to help you with whatever you need to make it feel like home.
This year's experience is far better than last year's. The green space and the opening of the agora entrances w/ granville's proximity to target is awesome.
Granville’s location was a big selling point for me but if the ease of access to Franklin Street and classes isn’t enough for you, the staff and amenities are unmatched!
My time has been great at Granville! The location is perfect and I’ve made awesome friends! I love the themed dinner nights and events every month!
Staff and maintenance are great. Although it can be noisy at times, since we are so close to the popular night-life scene, my hall in the west building has been pretty reasonable. RA's are also great.
This year hasn’t been a great experience. I have been amazed by the activities that not only our RAs put on but COGO can accomplish as well. I’m glad that I spent my freshman year in granville.
Living in Gville has been the best freshman experience. From the community events, to the food in the Agora, to working out in the gym with friends, to living with a great community of RAs and other residents, it is always a blast. Having everything so close to "home" is great! Target is a weekly visit and less than a minute walk, rushing Franklin is made easy with a 2 minute run to TOPO, and campus is a quick 5 minute walk. Living at college was never easier.
My experience at Granville so far has been very good and I have enjoyed my time here. The agora satisfies my meals and ensured there’s always new food to eat.
Noise levels can be loud at times, but overall love the staff and the location/area. The agora's food could be improved; meaning the different offerings of foods.
I've loved my two years living in Granville towers! I would definitely recommend living in Granville to a friend, as it was the best dorm to live in freshman year!
so friendly with great staff - wish there was free temporary parking for residents who only need to be there for about 2 hours.. otherwise great place to live!
Granville Towers is a great place to live. It’s in an extremely convenient location, and the community here is fantastic. #PlaceToBeAtUNC !!
I love that I have the opportunity to meet a diverse group of people here. I feel completely comfortable and at home. The Agora is awesome and has great food. The rooms are a decent size and the private suite bathroom is very nice compared to campus hall style bathrooms. Overall, I'll be sad to leave this place next year.
Great atmosphere and love all of the amenities, including the gym, printers, and study areas. It is very convenient that the dining hall is on location.
I have enjoyed this place and the agora. The location is convenient and I can't imagine living anywhere else on campus for my first year of college at UNC
Having a dining hall, laundry services, a gym, and lounges for studying all within the same is incredible. And the staff is always positive and helpful!
I love the convenience of Granville Towers! The staff members are incredibly friendly and nice. The maintenance workers are competent. My only complaint would be the high noise level late at night.
Absolutley love my RAs and the people on my floor. I am just a freshman, I didnt I didnt know what coming to college would be like. However Granville feels like a second home and I will be living here next year.
The experience has been mostly good, although I have had problems with a few things, such as air flow in the rooms. Also have had problems with ladybugs.
Granville is a nice place to live at UNC, especially when compared to the freshmen dorms on campus. However, I believe that some renovations to the rooms need to be made.
Granville is a very fun place to live in a great location. It is super close to all of my classes and Franklin Street. The rooms are really nice and large.
Granville is a great place to stay, especially as a first year at Carolina. It is very close to campus and right off Franklin St. The dorms are a good size and there are great amenities, especially the gym that is right below one of the towers.
Living at Granville has been wonderful! The staff is super friendly, particularly Diane in the Agora and the West tower desk attendants. Granville is in an ideal location and has great amenities!
The community is very nice. Staff are helpful, prompt, and friendly. The food is really good and maintence is always there if Assistance is needed. My RA is a great resource and the students around my dorm follow quiet hours. Can’t complain about anything
Love living in Granville. It feels like a hotel. Very comfortable and everyone is really nice. The staff is also very friendly. Wish they would sell more parking passes for all the spots that there is
Granville Towers’ rooms and bathrooms are nice, the location in relation to franklin street and classes is great, and the staff are very nice and helpful
Granville is the best option for first year living. They run fun community events and have good amenities. The food is just okay, and since it is located right next to frat Court, it can be pretty noisy. The roommate selection process was a breeze.
Granville is a really nice place to live because of its proximity to campus! I wish they would improve the bathrooms, there has been rust in our pipes several times.
Pretty good dorm. :) Accommodations and location are the best part. Love the setup. Sometimes the halls get a little rowdy late night/early morning, but the RA's are usually on it now. :)
Granville is a really nice place to live and the food in the agora is great. The only thing to keep in mind about Granville is that the other residents can be loud on Thursday nights.
Very beneficial first year experience, the food is okay, the management is good despite a couple RA's. Rooms are great quality and have a modern feel.
Granville Towers is an excellent place to live. Residents are well cared for and concerns are heard and attended to promptly. I would recommend this place to anyone.
The Black & White mocha mixes espresso with dark and white chocolate mocha and is topped with a line of “sparkly chocolate sequins to resemble a black tie,†a Starbucks spokesperson said in a statement. The other drinks include a Black & White hot chocolate, mixing the mocha with steamed milk, and a Black & White frappuccino, which blends mocha flavors and coffee with milk and ice.
I loved getting to be so close to not only my classes but also my new found friends. Granville is located in an amazing location and I had to blast with the agora themed dining moments
I like granville towers! It is a lot of fun and my roommate is an extremely great guy. I have bonded with him a lot and I hope my second semester is super fun!
I really enjoy the food at the Agora and the community and opportunities at Granville Towers. However, I wish the bathroom cleaning service was more through.
I have really enjoyed my time at Granville for several reasons. One reason is the assessability of the Agora and the various types of food offered there. Another reason is the friendliness of staff.
GREAT I love granville its so fun! I love it the rooms are so nice and the Agora(the dining hall) is 100!!!! The rooms are so nice and homey and comfy
Great place to live, great location near Franklin Street, and the Agora is great for a meal plan. Do Hibachi night again! That was the best meal at the Agora all semester
Really great staff and amenities. Housekeeping is always a plus and the maintenance is always prompt. Nice rooms and location. Can’t beat the location.
Rooms are nice. Food is ok. I HATE how the veggies are cooked with mergerine it makes them taste worse and really unhealthy!!!! They should just be steamed it saves you money and residence health!!!!
The location is wonderful, it’s right off of franklin and you can just walk to restaurants or go shopping. It is a very convenient location and it’s nice to be so close to everything
Everything is mainly great. The air condititioning is out of wack sometimes. The agora is great and convenient. The dorms are close to class
It’s nice, Iï¸ like the people and my RA Justin Fouts. but, I wish our bathroom was cleaned better and the heat worked better. i hate that the AC/heat is either winter or summer. Also, the agora could get cleaned more often
Granville is the best place to live at UNC. The staff is so nice and it’s a location is perfect. Everything a student could need is easily accessible and it makes the adjustment to college so much smoother!
Very well accommodated, fixes things very quickly upon request, good food. The staff is always willing to help out when needed. The cleaning staff are super nice and fun to talk to, always very polite.
This is a very nice place to stay. Very clean and I love it. I have heard nothing but good things about this place. The RA's are also very helpful and also the front desk person. I will be staying here again next year because I liked it so much.
Granville Towers is a very good living space for a college student. Maintainable is good and the ease of access to many amenities really helps out to a person's benefit.
Everything at granville has been incredibly awesome! I really enjoyed the thanksgiving dinner. The only issue is that the internet has been a little funky recently.
Granville is equipped with the best amenities, such as study lounges, exercise facilities, and a cyber cafe. I have made so many new friends since becoming a part of the Granville community. Granville has everything that you could need in one place!
I love living here, it has been such an amazing experience and because of Granville, I have met some my best friends. It is the perfect location and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
Granville Towers is a great community. They always try to plan nice monthly events and the Agora regularly has better food than the other dining halls on campus.
Granville towers is the place to be at UNC. They could do more events to meet people on your hall since it is hard to meet a lot of people there and the elevators go out a lot. Other than that, the food is good and it is clean.
I love Granville! I wouldn't want to live anywhere else and all of my friends are jealous about all of they amenities and space we get. You can't beat the location either!
i think living here is very nice. the furniture in the room looks better and is better quality than on campus. people on the hall are sociable, which i like.
I really like my experience at Granville towers. The cleaning service once a week could use some improvement. Sometimes they do not clean as thoroughly when they should if it’s just one time a week.
It is ok, good food and staff! However I got stolen here, therefore If I was here to live next year, probably not Granville. For the rest, RA are pretty cool and rooms are cool too
Granville towers has been a great place to live freshman year! The location is so convenient to classes and to places such as restaurants on Franklin St. and Target!
Granville is close to campus, and popular for freshman. There are also amenities such as a workout facility, laundry, and the agora. The food in the agora could be better but it is okay for a college dining hall.
The shower drain has been giving us problems. It keeps spitting up dirt and bubbles and leaves the tub gross. Other than that I'm loving living in Granville.
Granville towers was great. I loved the location and the easy walks to class. The amenities were great and the noise level was also great. Granville is a good option.
Great location and love the Agora. However, it can be a little annoying to have maintence working on the floors when it is still fairly early in the morning.
Overall everything is good except all the outside noise and noise from the hall. It is hard to get enough sleep when there is a lot of noise coming from all the work outside
Granville is in a great location! We are so close to Franklin St and to classes! I also enjoy having the Agora just downstairs. The food is great!
I love Granville Towers because of the convenience. The convenience to my classes, the comvenience to good food, the convenience to a gym and others are things that make daily life so easy.
I love living at Granville Towers. It is so close and convenient to my classes and to Franklin Street. I recommend living at Granville Towers.
its been good to get to know new people and the food is pretty good. Wish the cafeteria was open the Sunday of Fall break as a bunch of us were back and there wasn't any food.
I loveeee living in Granville. It's so private, but close to campus. I do wish the walk home was a bit more lit so I felt safer come back late at night, but the amenities overall are fantastic.
Repair requests have been responded to very quickly. The environment is quiet, not too loud. I can reach anywhere I need to be on campus with a less than 15-minute walk. And now that the construction is done, getting to Franklin Street takes less than a minute.
Very good. Nice employees, big rooms. The food is very good. The location is very prime. Nice facilities, like gym and laundry machines. Good study lounges.
Granville has completely transformed my Carolina experience. I wouldn't have wanted to live anywhere else these past two years. Great location, dining hall, facilities, and staff!
Granville has a very good location close to everything. The Agora dining hall has a good variety of food and is very good. Having a gym built in is convenient.
Room is nice, I like the suite-style and having a bathroom. Really disappointed that the Agora's sanitation rating went down, though. The lobby, hallways, and elevators are usually dirty and have a nasty smell. Our cleaning lady spilt bleach on my rug and tried to hide it, but then when address didn't offer to do anything to make it right. Rooms are either freezing cold or too hot.
I've enjoyed living at Granville Towers. Positives: Nice large rooms and suite style living is very comfortable. Negatives: my room is constantly freezing and the food is just meh.
Granville towers is such an awesome place to live at UNC! I live in south tower, and the study lounge in the basement is great. The Agora, our cafeteria, serves really good food and adds to the great experience here!
Granville Towers is a great place for freshman at UNC to stay! It has a great location, only a 10 minute walk from mid-campus and Franklin Street is seconds away! The staff is great and The Agora beats on campus dining.
The staff is great and very friendly. A few problems with mold in the bathroom and bad smells (sulfur, garbage) come from vents in dorm room. Agora is amazing though, and Dianne is the sweetest. She always makes me feel at home!
Good but many people are strict on the quiet hours policy I think that during the weekend there should be no policy for loudness or it should start at midnight
The staff is helpful and friendly. Some of the RA’s are a little strict on noise though. The Agora is great, I enjoy the variety of food that it offers. I have very few complaints about Granville.
I love Granville because I have made so many friends through living in such a tight nit community. The doors on my floor are always open and we have a ton of fun.
Living at Granville as a sophomore has been great, and the dining hall is especially delicious (better than Rams and Lenoir!). However, living on the first floor is annoying when other residents walk out of the emergency exit because of the alarm...
I have an awesome hall. We are all friends. My room is really homey, however it can get gross and I have trouble with our bathroom breaking sometimes. Although there could definitely be some updates, Granville is the best option for forming on campus hands down. It is close to my classes and the agora is so much better than Lenoir.
Granville towers is a great place to live. The agora is great and the laundry and gym are very convinient. The location cannot be beat being so close to Franklin street and the frat court.
Granville towers is a fantastic experience. The rooms are clean and well laid out, the agora is even better than a restaurant, and I love how Granville offers a sense of community
I have had the absolute best experience with granville towers. I love the food in the agora, especially on taco and quesadilla day😂 I love how close it is to campus too!
I like Granville. It feels safe to me at night time. It’s in a great location. The food in the Agora is usually great. The rooms are a decent size. I don’t really have any complaints.
I have really enjoyed being at Granville during my time at Carolina! The location is a really great perk. Really fun community to be apart of!
Very nice compared to most dorms. Very conveniently located and clean. Agora supplies good options on most days, however it can be dirty at tables.
very nice living conditions for a dorm. workers are very friendly and the maintenance and housekeeping are very prompt. plentiful and nice accommodations as well
Granville Towers is a in a great location on the Chapel Hill campus. Easy access to Franklin Street is a huge benefit. Internet connectivity could be improved.
Everything has been really great except for a few minor instances where we had to call maintenance multiple times for the same problem. The agora is great, but sometimes the staff at front desk is not very well informed when I come with questions or need help.
So far my experience has been alright; it could be much better especially with my RA but for now it is fine. Other than that the rest of the staff is awesome.
Best Dorms on campus, great location, great residents, great amenities. I’ve enjoyed the “first year experience†halls and have met so many great people.
I love Granville Towers! Location is very convenient and there is a great community atmosphere. I would definitely recommend to anyone at UNC.
I just love granville towers. This place is truly a home away from home, the food is great and the room service is absolutely incredible. I love being here
Granville towers has been a good place to live so far, but it can sometimes feel like a bubble outside the rest of the UNC community. If south campus is having a community event, it would be cool if Granville could do something similar or have its own event day so there's less of a divide.
I really wish the Agora had better food sometimes, and sometimes maintenance is not conducted in an adequate amount of time, even for small issues.
Granville is a nice place to live, but it can be very loud, and the walls are paper thin. The food is decent and the monthly dinners/events are fun. I am very happy with my decision to live here, versus the on-campus dorms.
My hall mates make this place great for me. The agora has also been a lot better this year than last year I feel. Especially with the themed nights.
The location is hard to beat and the food is good. Amenities are better than what you would expect for a dorm. Staff is helpful as well which is a plus!
Everything is amazing here except the people. Everyone is in Greek life, which isn't necessarily bad, until the get loud af at 2 am.
Granvilles food is great at the aora, location is by far the most convenient.
The rooms are nice and it's a fairly peaceful place to be. The food is great. I like the study lounges. It's a safe place and it's at a really good location.
The community here at Granville is amazing! My floor is so close and great friendships have been formed between neighbors and even both RAs on my hall (4 West)! The different events and destressers the staff provides for us is a great way to end the day, get out, try something new, etc. and it's great that I don't have to go further than my home! The AG is a 10/10; I know there will always be something I like, or something new to try! (P.S. the gluten free brownies are amazing and we want them back!)
I am very happy living at Granville Towers. The rooms are spacious and provide a home-like feel, the community is very welcoming, and the amenities made available to students are second to none. I would definitely recommend living here to future students!
This place has an amazing social scene and is a ton of fun. The amenities are great and the staff have been really nice so far. The location of granville blows south campus away.
Living In Granville has been great. The staff is welcoming and the community kithcen is great to have. Move in went very smoothly and my RA is always there when I have any questions or concerns. Weekly bathroom clesnings are a MAJOR perk and somehting im very grateful
The rooms are nice and the staff is very helpful whenever I need anything. The agora is good and it changes up every day. Also, the walk to campus is a good distance.
Granville towers provides me with a great environment to live in and it really enhances my college experience. The food is great and I would definitely not want to live anywhere else on campus.
I have really enjoyed living in Granville Towers for the last two years! The rooms are large, and the location is great! I definitely recommend living here!
Granville truly is the place to be at UNC. The housing situation is fantastic, the community living experience has been an enlightening and holistic one.
Very attentive staff, however the community tends to be very strict. Some residential advisors are less approachable than others. Difficult to find parking.
The community has been overwhelmingly supportive, and the ammenities are fantastic, not to mention the location - which is so central to both the shops on franklin st and your classes each day
Granville Towers has a great location between Franklin Street and the main campus! Also, the food and dining services provide fresh options every day.
Very nice living community! The Agora is especially convenient, with great food too. The fitness studios and study rooms in the basement areas are also nice.
My RA is fantastic and the food is great. The cleaning is very sub par however and we still have to clean our bathrooms and vanity’s. Other than that it’s a great community
A great community to live in with excellent staff, though it can be quite loud if that isn't what you're looking for. Overall, I've had a great experience and would recommend to anyone!
My experience at Granville has been superb. My Ra is dope. The food is great. The amenities are good for college. The location is prime for Greek lie.
This is a really cool idea, I think that this plan encourages people to become more involved one granville affairs. I think that many resident will enjoy this feature.
The rooms are really nice. The bathroom service is good and the food in the agora is outstanding. I love it here, it has everything I need and a perfect location
The rooms are a good size for a dorm and it’s very close to campus. The food in the agora is great and much better than rams or lenoir on campus.
Granville towers is usually very nice, but sometimes it is not very clean and people are very loud late at night. The location is great so it is worth it.
Granville is awesome. The rooms are nice, clean and big. The food is amazing and the staff is wonderful. The RA’s are so nice and care about your needs and how you are doing.
The people on my hall are very outgoing and sometimes loud. The agora is delicious! I've made so many friends here, the staff is on top of it
I love living here. There is always something to do and the agora always has great food. Late night is so convenient and the staff are so friendly.
Very fun, love the community environment and the staff. Great place to live in a great location that is a short walk to all of my classes!!!
Granville Towers is located in an extremely convenient location that is both close to the action and night life of Franklin St and Frat Row, and is only a short walk from the main campus. With standard suite style living, everyone who stays in Granville Towers is not only sure to receive privacy and individualality, but will ultimately feel right at home.
Granville is a wonderful place to live! They put so much effort into cleanliness, organization, good food, and so much more that just adds to an overall great experience. The only thing I would change is to encourage more mingling between towers to increase the community feel
The food is great as the menu alternates daily so it is not repetitious. The halls and lounges are clean. The staff is very nice and are willing to assist.
Granville is a fun community to be a part of. The staff is nice and there are always cool events going on. I love the food in the agora also!
Granville is a very nice living community and I am thankful to have chosen to live here. I have already met some great friends whole here in Granville that I am thankful for.
I love living in granville. the only thing i wish was that there was a more frequent cleaning service especially for the toilets and showers. Our shower frequently clogs.
granville is in a great location, great food, nice people, cleaning service is convenient, made a lot of friends, study room is very helpful
I really love where I live because all the staff are friendly and the amenities are uncomparable. I am allowed to decorate my room any way I want.
It's a very nice place to live, but sometimes the hall mates are noisy. Having the Agora is super convenient because residents don't have to walk far to get food.
I’ve enjoyed living in Granville Towers this year. The staff is fantastic and works hard to meet the needs of each member of the community. My only downfall is only having smoothie day once a week.
The dorms are decent in size and appearance. The location is close to campus , however, the agora has terrible weekend hours and awful food.
Living at Granville has been really nice because of the location and having our very own dining hall. One wish I do have is that there was an outdoor study space. I also enjoy the Granville community events
so far the experience has been really good and would definitely recommend to others who are looking for housing on campus! Amenities and staff are some of the best parts and the agora is a great place to eat wth friends!
The rooms and Agora are truly top of the line. The staff is very nice and personable. Maintenance responds quickly and does a good job. Noise is the only issue.
Granville is the best! All of my friends live here and are sprawled throughout west, east, and south. I love having the agora just a few floors down from me.
It's pretty easy to make friends at Granville. Between events that the residents association puts on and the fact that we're in a smaller community, it's easy to bond.
Granville is a great place to live! The food is better than the food at the dining halls on campus, and the walk to classes isn't that bad compared to other dorms. 10/10 would recommend
Granville towers is pretty amazing I like it a very good bit the food is pretty good and better than mediocre as well My room is very big!!!
granville has the best RAs, maintenance staff responds to issues very quickly, great location right off of Franklin and community is very welcoming
Granville Towers is a great place to live for UNC students. I am a freshman at UNC and love the location, the Agora, and the community. The walk is short to campus and if you decide to not eat in the Agora Franklin is a few steps away!
My dad and sister both lived in Granville Towers, and we all love(d) living here! It can sometimes be a bit noisy, but the room sizes are great and so are all the amenities.
I like living in Granville because the location is very convenient for me to be close to Night life, Franklin Street, and my sorority. I also like how nice the facilities are.
It’s a nice place to live, very close to everything on campus. However, it is very dusty. I’m not sure why, but it is. The agora should also have late night on the weekends.
The room and facilities are very nice, and the staff is always helpful and prompt in their response. The noise on weekends is the only main problem I have encountered with living here.
I couldn't ask for a better location to live on. The agora food is better compared to most dining halls and the staff are very friendly. The only complaint I have is that the room floors are very dirty. It seems as if the air filtration system causes lots of dust and dirt.
The community is very social with nice amenities. The agora always has good food and I love eating there. I have had a great experience here so far and look forward to living here for the rest of the year
Granville is in a great location, has great staff, nice rooms and bathrooms, a comfortable living space, and access to a good gym and cafeteria
The amentities provided are extremely nice. The food is amazing. The only thing about the food is that they use the same meat-knvies and grill when making vegetarian foods.
I love Granville and everything it has to offer. I've met a lot of really cool people and made some awesome friendships. The staff is really nice and the events are super cool
I love the atmosphere, the room size, and definitely the Agora. Everyone is very friendly and the walk to my classes isn't too long either. Definitely recommend!
The apartment community is great. My RA is constantly available to help out and I have had no issues thus far. There are events that happen on a regular basis that help residents become closer and distract us from the pain of classes.
So my experience at Granville Towers has been such a great time. From eating in the Agora with my friends to going out in Franklin St., Granville Towers provided me with a fostering environment for academic growth as well as growth in friendship.
I love living in Granville and being able to be involved in such a strong sense of community. Being involved in Greek life, it's nice to be surrounded by people that are in a similar lifestyle to me.
I have loved living in Granville because of the nice size rooms, yummy Agora food and kind Agora staff, and its close location to the main campus areas.
Very convenient location, and I love having the agora. Only suggestion is more meal plan options. Maybe like a 170 block? 120 is too little.
I love granville! food and people are amazing. Great location! The granville staff are incredibly nice, and care alot about the students! I hope to come back next year!
Love the spacious bedrooms, a lot nicer than other dorms. I also was allowed to keep my car here which is very nice. The food is always changing and there is a huge variety.
Granville towers is in a very good location. I love being right next to Franklin street and especially having the target just a minute away. Also the dorms are very nice
Granville Towers is very close to Target and close to all the departments I have to go to this semester. So the neighborhood is awesome. The food here is amazing too
I Enjoy the location very much and its very close to my classes and Franklin street. If you are looking for a really good location, this is for you.
amazing food at the agora, nice people, great location, gym is very convenient, study lounges on each hall are very useful, good cleaning service, sometimes elevators break
it has been amazing so far. The customer service is great, the food is great, the rooms are amazing! The best thing is the location. It is so convenient for walking to class and everywhere.
Every issue with our room was dealt with immediately by the staff. The facilities are also a good perk to have. The dining hall isnroght downstairs so that is a plus too.
Granville has been really amazing, everyone here is so friendly and welcoming and that has made a difference for me since I'm out of state. The only reason it isn't 5 stars for me is because the outlets in the room are not spaced out which makes charging things a pain. The other thing is the the Agora's hours could be a tad better and some of the staff like Diane are amazing but others can be rude and don't seem to love their job.
The facilities are great. I have had some issue with my AC but maintenance arrived quickly. I really enjoy the food but would like more healthy options, like kale in the salad bar.
The noise of people coming in and out is crazy. Not everyone abides by the quiet and courtesy hour rules, but other than that great place to live with some pretty awesome staff and food.
There is a great atmosphere at Granville! The food is super good and the dining staff are very friendly. The maintenance people are pretty fast in fixing what needs to be done.
Staff is very nice and the rooms are a great size. Only complaints are that sometimes food in agora could be better and I wish packages would be checked in quicker.
It’s been great. Food is great. People are great, leadership is great, cleaning service is great, rooms are great maintence is great, I like living here and the location is good
I love living here. The housing is great with the suit style and bathroom. The customer service is great and the dining hall is great! Plus hall mates are fun to talk to!
It has been amazing at Granville. I love everything about it from the food to the people. It is in such a central location allows me get the full UNC experience.
I love living so close to campus and Franklin Street and having a dining hall right next door. All of the staff here are so sweet and helpful.
Great food, friendly staff, easy access to printers, dining, Franklin, etc. location is fantastic. Close to Franklin and still close ish to classes
Granville is very nice. I love the weekly cleaning. THe staff is friendly. Mrs. Diane is the nicest. Late night is seriously so good. Sometimes I question whether all the food is fresh or not
We are loving the rooms! They are so spacious compared to all of the other dorms on campus! The Agora is amazing! Ive been here for over a month now and I still love eating there!
Granville is the BEST place to live especially for first years! The living spaces & amenities are perfect. I love having my own sink in my room! The agora is very good and suitable for anyone! 10/10 would recommend Granville to anyone going to UNC!!
Overall, Granville is an amazing place to live. It is a high quality living place and the staff is extremely friendly. Whenever there is a problem, they are always there to help.
I love living at Granville Towers. It is really nice, clean, fun, and safe. I love the location as well. Overall, it is the best housing UNC students can have.
Granville Towers is definitely the place to live at UNC. Residents are only 5 minutes from campus and only a short walk to Franklin Street. Granville also has plenty of amenities and the Agora is nice.
Even though it's a little loud in my hallway sometimes, I love my community! Everyone is really nice all the time and my RA is very inclusive and cares a lot about her residents!
I love Granville towers. The laundry is convienent, the gym is convenient, and the Agora is so much better than any of the dining halls on campus!!
This is great! As a broke college student this is really a helpful way to get little presents here and there. Thankful for this and ready to keep playing!
Granville towers is the best! The gym is great and so is the food and the atmosphere! I would definitely recommend it for any upcoming freshman and other students!
Love it here! Everyone is nice and helpful. The only con is the noise level due to the thinner walls and the closeness to Fraternity Court...
Granville towers is a great community with a great location on campus. The food at the agora is very good. I enjoy living in north campus it is close to classes
Granville Towers is the place to be as a freshmen at UNC. The community and resources are great!! I would recommend replacing the air filters in each room atlas once a month to avoid the sickness of residences. Overall, Granville provides a great experience with awesome people!!!
for the most part granville is great for a college dorm. the air is pretty dusty and appliances break easily. The agora is a nice addition and has good food, however, the workers in the agora don't wear gloves and are not as sanitary as they should be.
Granville towers has been an awesome place to love for my first year of college. The staff have been really great with fixing any issue we have in our room or in general.
I really like how social everything is, although the lack of pool or athletic thingy like the other places have is a tad depressing. The gym is nice though, and the agora is pretty convenient.
It's pretty dope living here. Big fan of the cable package, having HBO is especially clutch. The lack of SEC network is a little troubling to say the least.
Granville offers so many great amenities and is so close to anything you could want or need. I was concerned about how far from my classes I would be, but literally everything is right here.
I love living at Granville but there are some maintenance problems that “cannot be fixed†according to the maintenance workers. Other than this I love Granville.
Granville Toweres is a great place to live, especially for first-year students! The rooms are big and nice with plenty of storage, and having a bathroom attached the rooms is great. It is also convenient having a cafeteria in the Towers. The food is usually pretty good and there are a lot of choices, but the tables are almost always dirty, which is probably the only bad thing about Granville.
Granville Towers is a great community to live in. The quality of my room is incredible particularly in comparison to traditional first year housing.
I love Granville Towers!! There are so many great amenities that make life that much easier and maintenance acts super fast on any problem so you never have to live uncomfortably.
My experience so far has been amazing. It is so much better than south campus because you are close to all of the classes and all of the fraternity houses.
Compared to on campus, Granville is great. However, the a/c and other amenities are outdated. Dust collects like nowhere I've seen, and there is mold in the vents in the rooms. The staff is the best! They do whatever they can to support you.
Granville knows how to take care of residents. I've always felt taken care of here.
There rooms are incredibly nice. The staff are friendly and responsive. The agora serves great food. Everything you need, Granville towers has.
I love Granville, the location is amazing, and any work orders that I've put in for my room were taken care of that same day. The Agora has great food, I especially love that it has great vegetarian options
Lovely place and lovely people. The people in the Agora are always so friendly and can make any day with an 8 AM better. The people at the front desk are super friendly and will help with whatever you need.
I love how social the community is. The food is awesome and the staff is so nice. The rooms are awesome living spaces for a first-year student away from home.
I enjoy living in Granville Towers for the sense of community that comes with it. There is always something to do and the food in the Agora is great!
while a little pricey, Granville is well worth the money for location convenience and much better food. While the food choices are a little less than normal on the weekends, there is still something for everyone.
Granville Towers has wonderful staff that are always willing to assist when needed. Unfortunately many residents are loud during early (1-4am) hours of the morning and when you call the RA's, there is no action taken for a substantial amount of time. Just wish quiet hours were enforced.
So far living at Granville has been great and the community of people are awesome. However, when me and my roommate first arrived both the shower and air conditioning were broken. Also the trash room is always overflowing with garbage because no one changes the trash.
Everything is like totally awesome and the numerous staff are extremely friendly. I can't wait to have a great semester and school year here again.
I have enjoyed my time living in Granville Towers. I love the accessibility of the gym, Agora, and mail. I did not give Granville 5 stars because I wish there was a way to drop off/send mail on property. Also I wish the wifi didn't go out so much.
a really great place to live. Super close to classes and to franklin street. I am glad that I decided to live here for my freshman year of school.
As far as freshman dorms go, Granville is pretty great. And having a dining hall, gym, and study rooms in the dorm was super convenient. And when some girl flooded my room during finals week, Granville put me up in a 4-star hotel with room service and a driver (not complaining).
Staff is attentive and quick to fix problems. Rooms are in decent condition and maintenance is fast and helpful. Food is good. Nice location.
I wish the agora had longer hours, like earlier on the weekends and late night as an option on the weekends as well. I also wish that the wifi was more consistent and didn't go out as much.
Granville is an above average dorm to live in at UNC Chapel Hill. There are good amenities such as community rewards, free tshirts, prizes and others. Also, the food in the Agora is great.
It really is a great place to live. I feel like I'm in a New York apartment building sometimes because I can just walk in, go to the elevator, and go to my very own space.
Love Granville. Always clean and I love always being greeted by the friendly staff in the agora. Only complaint would be the noise levels on some of the halls.
Granville is great! I am happy I chose to live here my first year. I have met some of my very best friends here. I am so close to campus and that is so awesome.
Upset wth how often the wifi has been going lately and how much the elevators have been broken. Agora has been good, and the RAs are understanding and very nice, which makes things more pleasant!
Great location and friendly staff. Agora usually has nice food. Fun events hosted by Granville! Community Government does a lot to put on events for residents.
Great location close to campus and community and staff are very friendly! Rooms are a decent size and amenities are very nice too. I would definitely recommend.
I love Granville Towers. With all the amenities and the awesome living, it helps me better myself and succeed in school. There are so many things I like about living in Granville.
Location is great but elevator service could be better in East tower. Also cleaning service is not the best. Bathroom floors don't always get cleaned.
Granville Towers is a great place to live! I would recommend it to anyone! The staff is friendly and helpful! The agora is good, but could use some more food choices. Especially fruit choices.
Living at Granville Towers for my first year was the best decision I could have made. Having my car was so helpful, plus the food was great and it's so much closer to my classes than south campus.
Granville is a great place to stay. It's close to campus, close to Franklin Street and there is great food. They offer some good amenities every month.
I love Granville because the staff and community directors care about the residents. They are always willing to accommodate for individual situations.
Staff is very friendly. Maintenance is quick to fix any problems. It is occasionally loud, even during quiet hours. Location is right next to campus, which makes it convenient.
My experience has been awesome. They cater to your needs and genuinely care for the resident; a touch you will probably not get anywhere else on campus.
Good Stuff, I really like Granville and will be staying here as long as I can. The services they provide are top notch and no other dorm does it better here on campus.
Very good place to live, in a great and convenient location. Employees are helpful and kind. Overall Granville Towers is a pleasant experience.
No complaints. It would be very practical if the agora have late night every day of the week and open sooner than 10 on weekends. I would definetly utilize this. Office workers and agora staff are fantastic! The gym and study rooms are great!
Granville Towers is an awesome living experience. The Agora is fantastic, the maintenance staff is great, and the rooms are very nice and spacious.
I enjoy living here. The staff is great and so are the rooms. The package center is efficient and open at convenient times. The gym has plenty of equipment and room to exercise.
I really enjoy living here!! Living so close to a dining hall and to campus is really helpful, my RA this year is very sweet, and people help me with most of the things I need.
Granville is a great place to live! The staff are kind, the rooms are great, and the community is so strong. My only problem is the lack of parking available.
Granville Towers is a really great place to live especially because of the location. It's very close to everything you need to succeed as an undergraduate student and has great amenities that make for a fantastic experience.
I love Granville Towers. It is super convenient and much better than the other resident halls. Super close to classes and Franklin Street. Recommend to all friends!!
You are doing such a great job this is so awesome and you are doing a great job the food is bomb I love the food it's great Taco day is the best
Great start. Just beginning but like the format and premise of the program. Look forward to participating and taking advantage of all the rewards.
Granville Towers is the second community I've lived in during my college career. I love the opportunity to have my own room and sink, with a cafeteria and gym basically down the stairs. The convenience is worth the price.
I am really glad that i chose to love at granville towers. i am very pleased with the staff and the service that i have received at granville
I really love living at Granville. It is my home away from home. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. It is also in a very good location.
It is a good opportunity to earn rewards back and I appreciate being able to do so. I love Granville and living there. It has been a great experience for me.
Great. I really enjoy how you repeatedly send emails encouraging residents to partake in these surveys and give feedback. Easy and fun way to do so
Overall good, but I wish that the wifi was more stable and that the Agora was open earlier on the weekends. The staff is always friendly and willing to help.
Everything is good so far except that there is so much dust accumulation. I feel that the agora needs sushi.
Also some things should change. Tenders should be served everyday.
More lights to make room brighter.
Granville has been a great place to live at. The food is great and the community is well knit. I would not live anywhere else for my first two years
So far my first semester here has been great. I would love more interaction with my RA however, she does a good job but I don't really see her. I love all of the benefits you give us and how you treat us so well
I love Granville Towers! The Agora has delicious food and always has something for everyone. I will definitely be living at Granville Towers again!
Y'all are doing great. I can't wait to earn more rewards soon. Maybe add some more easier tasks for points so we can get to out rewards faster.
I love living here! Amazingly friendly staff - especially the Agora workers and housekeeping ladies. Sometimes the construction can be a little loud :/
Everything is fine except for the fact that the heat is outrageous. Doesn't seem to regulate itself and our room is 78 degrees or higher regardless of what we set it to.
The staff are awesome, responsive to requests whether it be maintenance or more bathroom supplies. Mostly clean facilities, good food wish the rooms were more sound proof bc loud neighbors.
Granville Towers is really great and so close to campus. It's really the best places to live at UNC. I couldn't imagine living anywhere else!!
Granville Towers is awesome because I have access so many different resources and facilities in one awesome place such as a dining hall, fitness room, and study hall.
The Granville community is a great example of premier customer service. The staff is diligent, friendly, and committed to making sure residents feel like this is their second home.
Granville is a great place to be. I love the gym and the Agora. The construction noise is not my favorite but I love being so close to class. There is always something going on.
The amenities and staff are exceptional. However there should definitely be more enforcement of quiet hours, as some residents are very rowdy late at night while others are trying to sleep.
Good job with hoisting and cleaning. However, the agora does not offer as many options weekly as is attractive to residents. While it does have good food, some variety (and less rosemary) week to week would be nice.
Love living in Granville. Convenient Location to all my classes and Franklin Street and has very nice facilities. The Maintenance staff also is incredibly helpful and prompt to respond to any and all issues.
I enjoy living at Granville, especially that I can get a 4-person suite at about the same price as an 8-person one on-campus. It's also closer to main campus than south campus
My time so far at Granville has been great. I love the agora and how convenient Granville is to campus. The one thing I would change is I would like to have more social events on our hall
Everyone who works at the desks have been super helpful. The only time I had an issue was when I received a package and it was never entered into the system so I got it late. But otherwise no issues.
The rooms are great and spacious! Most of the staff is friendly and inviting. The amenities are great! My only suggestion is to fix the elevators because it seems like they are always broken.
I am loving Granville Towers. Everything has been excellent so far. The food is really good, and the maintenance staff is always on top of things.
Staff Ian friendly, maintenance is extremely helpful whenever they are needed. Rooms are nicely kept, great size! Would definitely recommend this place to a friend.
Great food! Community government does a lot to help with the sense of unity! The Agora is pretty good. The rooms are relatively quiet and the construction isn't terrible.
I have enjoyed my stay. The staff is really nice and works hard and is always super presonable with you. The wifi has been really annoying but is getting fixed.
Overall, I have throughly enjoyed living at Granville. My favorite thing about Granville is the location. Granville is so much closer to main campus and Franklin Street. The staff is extremely nice as well. My only complaint is noise that occurs as a result of construction and thin walls.
I love living at Granville Towers! The staff and residents are all very warm and welcoming, and the location is ideal for walking to classes.
The place is most certainly the best place to stay in terms on UNC housing. It's close to classes, the Agorra is so good, the rooms are nice, and the people are pretty nice.
The food is super good. I like that the bathrooms get cleaned once a week because I couldn't do it myself. The people on my hall are cool. Yeah.
The maintaince stuff is always great as well as the Agora staff. My RA is really cool too! Love the location so it's easy to get to class and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else
I love granville towers, L O V E, love it. The food is delicious, the location is prime, and the people are amazing. The staff is helpful, and I have nothing negative to say
Jasper I. M.
Granville has been great so far for the beginning of my freshman year. It is conveniently located near classes, fraternities, and restaurants on Franklin street.
I love it here at Granville! The staff is super friendly and the food/amenities are great! Sometimes I feel as though the agora is a bit repetitive and it closes too early and due to nearby construction it can get a little noisy from time to time, but other than that it's fantastic!
Great food! Awesome gym! I love the location and the fact that you can access Franklin street so easily. The onsite laundry room is great too!
The overall experience at Granville unparred to the other living areas on campus. I have throughly enjoyed my time here the utilities such as the angora, floor and basement study rooms, and workout center in the bottom of west. The living area is always clean and it is a peaceful enviornment to come back to. My only complaint is the noisy and rambunctious AC units that haunt every room at night. This problem has gone unsolved and is a nussance to everyday living.
Granville is great! It's super close to campus so I don't have to walk far to classes. Franklin street is right around the corner so I can always swing by the store to pick up anything I need or just eat out with some friends!
This is my second year at Granville and I love it! The location to campus is so convenient and the food is better than I could do for myself haha!
I think you guys are doing a great job! I love living here for my second year and enjoy the "Granville Experience." There is a no other place I would rather be in Chapel Hill than here. The food has been great and the events have been awesome so far! I can't wait to see what else you have to offer as the school year progresses!
very well! The staffs have been very helpful and friendly. The maintenance is efficient, the night we reported there was a problem in our bathroom the next day it was fixed!
Doing great, I loove the food, I looove the facilities. The staff is really nice and cordial.
Looking forward for the great year! yip yip urra for granville
Its been great here. Staff is fun and more in tune with college life and college experience. RA's are fun and easy to talk to as well as helpful. Only problem is there seems to be constant small maintenance problems which can be irritating. Also, the internet connection is fairly poor, slow, and spotty. The food here is very good and the staff is friendly.
I love Granville Towers. The amenities are incomparable and the staff is awesome! I love the location of Granville as well as it's convenience.
Living in Granville Towers is great because it is so convenient in relation to food, classes, the gym, and Franklin Street, and I would highly recommend it!
Granville Towers is a great place to live. The onsite dining is my favorite part about living there. It makes it so easy to eat during a long night studying because it's so quick. The only thing I'd recommend is takeout boxes during regular hours at the agora.
Since living at Granville Towers for the 2015-2016, I have had only positive experiences. The staff at the front desk and then kind men who attend to any repairs makes it their duty to make residents feel safe and at home. Further, I had the joy of living on a substance free hall and so the noise level was perfect. For these reasons, I applied to work here for the 2016-2017 school year and I'm delighted to live in Graville for a second year!
The food in the Agora is considerably better than the on-campus dining halls. I also love that my bathroom is cleaned for me! I have always found that Granville treats its residents well by notifying them via email about any goings on. They also host events and create a fun place to live.
It was a great four years!! I loved all the staff and everyone that worked at Granville towers!! Though I wish you all still had casino night!! My freshman and sophomore year I missed them because I had to work night shifts and had class obligations to attend evening activities, but otherwise everything was great! And o especially loved how every semester you had massage!
I loved living in Granville. The location can't be beat. The staff is awesome, agora is delicious, and the amenities are amazing. Recommendations would be water fountains on each floor and a quiet rule in study rooms.
Great location and options for rooms. Improvements should include Agora food and miscellaneous maintenance like the central air/heating system.
Granville Towers was by far the best place to live at UNC. The fun nights in The Agora were my favorite! Who doesn't love being serenaded by the Clefs?? I wouldn't have wanted to live anywhere else!
I think Granville towers was a great place to live for freshman year and I loved eating at the agora. I also liked how close it was to franklin street and class
I loved living at Granville this past year and am doing so again! It is very conveniently located and I love the agora. The only thing is that I wish it had outdoor seating.
Living in Granville Towers is great! The rooms are spacious and the Agora has amazing food. I would definitely recommend living in Granville to any UNC student.
Maintenance and food could be better, but other than that, I had a great experience! I would have liked to know about the construction prior to living there as well.
Pretty well, I am just really worried about the noise from construction. Also, the noise from the halls. I wish there was an easier way to get to Franklin street.
Food is good but can get repetitive quick. The rooms and hallways are cleaned but are dirty a lot. The wifi is so-so and the heat/air flip-flops during the between months is annoying.
I had a great time living at Granville Towers! The Agora was amazing. It had many options that would be suitable for all types of eating preferences.
Granville Towers truly is the place to be at UNC. The staff is great and always willing to help. It is conveniently located with easy and quick access to Franklin St and Campus. There is no other place I would live besides Granville.
I love Gvegas!!! Lived here my freshman year of college and it was awesome. Agora is so fantastic and I love how close Granville was to all my classes
Love the Agora; the food is always great and there is so many options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I also love the dorm rooms; nice size and appearance.
Excellent community. The rooms are a great size. The amenities are fantastic. I love have two fitness areas. The staff is always friendly and helpful. A few times my room has been skipped for housecleaning or my room was left unlocked.
Living at Granville Towers has been great! I've met great people, attended fun events, and enhanced my time at Carolina. Granville has a great location & great dining!
Great! Bathroom housekeeping could be a little better. Agora has awesome food. Everyone is super nice. It has been a lot of fun living here and working here.
I like living in Granville because of the location and convenice of walking to class. If the agora offered healthier options it would make it a lot better
Granville is the best living community on UNC's campus. Granville offers a wide array of options and opportunities for residents. The Agora has the best food on campus. Granville offers fun night time activities monthly from bingo night to magician nights. There's always something going on!
Granville Towers has been a great place for me to live on campus at UNC. I have made friends on my floor that will last a lifetime and I have already renewed my lease for next year, living next to 7 of my very good friends, thanks to room draft. The elevators are not in good condition, and plumbing has been an issue for a number of my friends living in Granville. I have seen flooding events and other building related hazards, which in my opinion should be addressed first and foremost. Please take care of the building and make it a safer place for me and my peers.
I really have enjoyed living here and I am sad to leave. The employees are all very helpful and I love all of the conveniences you offer. Thanks!
It was a great place to live freshmen year! I really enjoyed the extra activities granville towers had during the year such as the seafood dinner and the scavenger hunt at the end of the year
To keep it short, there's a reason I have decided to return to Granville for another year at UNC. Even better, I get to join the staff as an RA!
I really enjoy living at Granville. The staff is awesome and it's location is very convenient. I always recommend that people live here because I love it.
I am so glad that I chose to live at Granville, my first year experience at UNC was wonderful. I loved everything that Granville had to offer (trust me, the Agora is so much better than on campus dining..). I also loved how close I was to classes & to Franklin Street!
Incredible experience. Had a great first year at UNC thanks to Granville. Met some of my closest friends and its location makes it unbeatable in comparison to the other dorms
This was a very nice community, it was clean and the amenities provided were functioning well and convenient. My neighbors were all cordial and nice. My living space was comfortable.
Granville Towers is a great place to live, it's a fun and comforting environment and there is always lots to do! The staff at Granville is very helpful and willing to answer questions!
: ) This is super duper schluper great. Two thumbs up : ) . Whoop whoop whoop : ) . Granville is so great . So greaaat. Whoop whoop whoop.
I loved the dining hall, gym, and laundry facilities. Everything is convenient, accessible, and easy to use. The staff was extremely helpful and always friendly, particularly the Agora staff.
I thoroughly enjoy living at Granville. It's a convenient residence, but also it has so much to offer its tenants. The events, the food, and the kind staff make Granville an ideal place to live.
I loved living at Granville Towers my freshman year. The people were always friendly, from the residents to the cleaning staff. Everyone was helpful when I needed it.
Everything has been great except the heating and air conditioning system. The rooms are always either too hot or too cold and housekeeping always switches the bathroom switches back on, even if you really want it off.
I loved living in Granville! The community was great, and everything was very convenient. I really enjoyed getting to know everyone, and my hall was very close by the end of the year.
I think that Granville does a good job of striving to continually improve, and looking to meet the needs of residents. I enjoy the different community-wide programs that are available throughout the year.
Granville is a great place to live. Very excited to live in East tower where the gym is only a few steps away. I have a few characters left.
A welcoming environment, great accommodations, and the location is very strategic when it comes to going to classes. The food is probably the best around campus.
I love this place. It's a great place to live at UNC. It can get a little noisy at times but not very often. My only disclaimer is if you truly want that "first year experience" you might want to stay on South campus but you can still get it from Granville :)
I had a great time at Granville! The agora was awesome, the RAs and staff were always super friendly and receptive, and the building was clean and well maintained.
Very good nothing to complain great good i'm just trying to get 140 characters great good great awesome fantastic fabulous chicken phillys rock
I love Granville. This will be my third year living there. The atmosphere of community created by the staff is stronger than any other company I've interacted with.
I really have enjoyed Granville so far. I think that the amenities are much better than other places on campus, especially the food. Overall a pretty good experience.
Great people who work here. However the residents are a bit loud. The agora is amazing! There's a great variety of food that is available. Greek life is huge here, which I'm not a great fan of.
The facilities very nice and convenient. It was very close to campus and the staff was always willing to help. I would recommend it to any incoming freshman
The location is great and staff is so nice. I moved here from south campus half way through my freshman year and loved it here it really gave me the freshman experienxe
You guys are doing great. Staff is friendly, and maintenance keeps up to date. The only problem i had on my floor was the noise level which was pretty high year round
Granville Towers has been all that I could ask for as a dorm. The location is great (close to class), the staff are friendly, also the agora
Everything was great. However, more activities and more RA involvement was needed. Granville was a lot of fun for staying there for my first year.
Granville was a great place to live. I couldn't imagine living anywhere else. The location is better than any other dorm, and the amenities are great.
I enjoyed my time at Granville Towers. The dining was very convenient, as well as the gym, both of which made living in Granville very appealing. I understand the geographical reason behind this, but the one thing I disliked was that I felt disconnected from the rest of campus.
Loved living in Granville Towers so much fun and great food and awesome time. Loved the inside entrance to rooms and you get very close to everyone on your floor
Great! Friendly staff, good location, awesome amenities, live with friends close to class and franklin with gym and ping pond table, agora is bomb
Granville is definitely the best choice of housing for freshmen just because of the location. I've never had to walk more than 10-12 minutes to get to a class.
Granville is truly a home away from home. I loved it here. Best food ever. Staff was always so nice. I always felt secure and safe to a point where I even stopped locking my doors!
I'm glad I chose to live here over South campus. Would do again due to the dining hall, gym, and close location. The setbacks were the constant construction and the broken elevator in East tower.
I really enjoy living at Granville Towers. It's a great place to meet people and make new friends. The Granville community really made transitioning into college much easier
I loved living at Granville Towers this past school year. The location was perfect and gave quick access to Franklin Street and campus. The amenities were great and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful every day.
I think Granville is a great place to live as a freshman and sophomore. I wish at times there was a green space outside or anywhere to enjoy the outdoors at Granville.
I really enjoy Granville and will continue to live here for the rest of my college career. I would highly recommend this dorm to anyone who wants to have a great college experience
I really enjoyed staying at Granville my freshman year, so much that I will be staying there again next year. The rooms are so much nicer than the other dorms and the staff is really nice
I had a wonderful experience in Granville Towers. The convenience of all the amenities was a major plus including the Agora, the gym, and especially being so close to Franklin Street and campus.
The location is prime. The construction was really annoying, especially living in East, but there's not really anything you can do about that. One thing that really bothered me was the amount of styrofoam the Agora used for Late Night; I know it's the cheapest option but it's really not environmentally conscious and there were a LOT of cups/togo boxes used every night. If you have the funds, consider switching to paper.
The service at Granville is top notch and definitely worth the extra few hundreds compared to on campus living. The agora is better than most college dining halls.
Positives: Granville is an excellent place to live. The amenities were nice, and the rooms were spacious and well maintained. It is in a very convenient spot near classes, and it was only a short walk from Franklin street. Also, the agora food was spectacular, and was significantly better than the on-campus dining, and rivaled some restaurants on Franklin.
Negatives: Due to the construction, there were very few natural areas around Granville to lounge around and enjoy the sunshine and throw a frisbee. If you wanted to see grass, you had to go all the way to the quads, which feels kind of tedious. Also missing were basketball courts, which were solely missed.
Great living space. Maintenance responds quickly and efficiently which is always appreciated. Good food at the Agora but sometimes I want fresh vegetables instead of the constant steamed vegetables served. Staff is always friendly, but not all of the staff follows the same rules. Sometimes when checking out a key they require your granville card, other times they require your PID and email and keep your card. It would be better if all staff were trained the same way.
Granville was truly a home away from home! The staff were some of the nicest people I have ever met. The Ag... I have no words. Food never tasted so good, esp. the quest.
I loved living in Granville my freshman year! The staff was very friendly and the location was great because it was so close to Franklin Street, and it was only a 10-15 minute walk to class!
really enjoy it- renewed my lease for this year. seemed much better than my friends dorm experience ag being right there is a major plus! some maintenance issues, but thats to be expected. mail is convenient too!
Granville Towers is the best place to live. The community is like a family to me. The Agora is the best dining hall on campus. The gym makes it easy to exercise
Living at Granville has truly been great! It's the ideal residence hall because the Agora (dining hall) has the best food & it's location is puts students right next to campus and Franklin Street!
A loving community, excellent residential service, and the yummy Agora and its charismatic staff make up just a part of G Vegas! It was the best decision I've made when deciding between here and South Campus.
Granville towers is a great place to live. It is close to campus and has the best food on campus. Very nice suite style rooms that are clean.
I couldn't have imagined spending my freshman year anywhere else. The location can't be beat, as well as the social atmosphere that allowed me to meet some of my closest friends.
The communication has been superb and events are kept up-to-date. As an incoming first-year, there's a lot I am confused about, but Granville is very informative and helpful.
